In the city centre, Novotel Christchurch Cathedral Square is a 4.5 star, contemporary hotel, with city views in all rooms. It is walking distance from the Convention Centre and Hagley Park. There is a choice of modern rooms at the Novotel Christchurch, each spacious and stylish. All rooms feature Wi-Fi access and LCD TVs. Some have a separate living space and work desk. Novotel’s restaurant is open throughout the day, serving New Zealand cuisine and excellent wines. There is also a fully equipped gym. Liczba pokoi: 193, Sieć hotelowa: Novotel. Restaurant and all staff are great. This was our second stay. The first time we were in new part and room was excellent. Not nearly as good sadly in older part.

Location could not be better. One step out of the door and you are in the heart of the city. Modern rooms large enough. Good restaurant. Gym could be bigger and with real equipment. It's pity that most of 4 star hotels world wide have gyms next to nothing.

All staff were extremely polite,friendly and helpful. Good security in that the lifts had to be operated using your card key first. Excellent position right next to the cathedral. Good dining facilities. We received complimentary breakfasts. A small niggle was that the volume of the piped music in the restaurant was obtrusive.

Good city centre location. Booking.com website said $135 room charge - account charge was $139 (rushing to airport at 4.00am, so no time to argue). Website also said there was an airport shuttle service - I have always taken this to mean it would be a complimentary shuttle, and this is often one of my criteria in selecting a hotel. Hotel would only oredr a commercial shuttle service, and we had to pay shuttle service on pick-up.

the large room, the place near the cathedrale, the kind personnel the kitchen was not very good, not very fresh ingredients, and not much.and far too dark room.

Nice hotel from major Accor Chain, free internet at Macintoshs in the lobby for 20mins/day. I would only recomend if there are any deals involved. No breakfast included, rooms can be noisy on the first floors and hot because there´s no air conditioning. You have to deposit 100 nzd for eventual expenses in the hotel.

Erg centraal gelegen. Midden in het centrum van Christchurch. Wij sliepen in het oude gedeelte. Daar wordt iedereen met een aanbieding in gestopt. Heel donkere warme kamer. Met 2 kleine schuiframen. Eigenlijk 3 kamers achter elkaar. T.V kamer, slaapkamer en badkamer. Geen aircon. Wel schoon. In het gerenoveerde gedeelte zullen de mooiere kamers zitten die op de website staan. Ongetwijfeld ook duurder.

Das grösszügige Badezimmer war schön. Die zentrale Lage war ebenfalls gut, man war gleich mitten in der Schtad wenn man rausging.
