I don't have any single thing to say bad about it! Everything was great and I would return and recommend!

Excellent views, friendly and helpful staff, large living areas are great for longer stays.

fireplace, view, plenty of room. Private and quiet

need a bigger TV, better instructions on working underfloor heating - couldn't get it to go. No restaurant available. Had to drive into town just for breakfast. Suggest have a selection of DVD's to borrow.

Very luxurious for money.

Poor room location as a result of internet deal - we assume. Very hard to miss if you hadn't been there before...roadside signage v. poor. Inconsistent water pressure in shower.

Oaks Shores was the perfect 'home away from home' - one can just walk in and want to stay due to the really comfortable and spacious apartment, that included an atmospheric gas fire and sensational views across the lake. We stayed for 6 nights, and would have loved to stay longer.

Lack of wardrobe space and lack of towel rails - minor concerns when weighed up against the gourmet kitchen and living area.

Good views,reasonable location

Staff member asked to bring extra blanket to our sisters room as it was cold. He only brought a SHEET! We found out later he had not even checked the setting on the heater which I looked at in the morning for my sisters and was easily able to turn up to a warmer setting!

We loved the location on the lake and the facilities in the 3 bedroom villa.

no free internet in the rooms

The staff, especially Aaron, were very helpful. We were upgraded to a much better room and were taken into town by car for meals when required. very pleased with the treatment we got..

we were disappointed that the dining facility was closed earlier than was stated in the advertisement on the web site and our room was disappointing

Modern facilities.

A bit of pot luck what view you get. Ours was much better one after we were moved.

Very nice apartment with good parking and lifts. Really felt at home with Great Lake views from 8th floor suite. Enjoyed fireplace and deck with table and chairs, very quiet and peaceful.

A little out of downtown core so you have to drive and try and find parking.

nice facility and room. enjoyed by our golf party of 4. small private rooms ideal for this group.

out of season-no bar open-not a problem

The room we eventially got was excellent. The views fabulous. Central for most places we wanted to see. Staff very good and helpful.

The first room we were offered so had to upgrade. The fact they charge for WiFi is bad. Even though room was great there is no draw space so had to live out of cases for the duration.

I liked everything about the Oaks . I had read some negative reviews about the car park but I found no issues. Good parking space, Friendly staff , Nice apartment and nice view. Really enjoyed my stay. I would highly recommend everyone . Few problem which you will find in any apartments or hotels.

Hotel needs more navigation signs. Hard to find hotel room or reception from car park. Very confusing. I was lost so as some other guest. I help few other people to find their apartment room after I got used to. Lift should have sign which floor is the reception located. Car park has sign for room number from 500 but where is the sign for room number 100-500. After lift exit should have sign which way to go for reception .Apartment needs to have Air-conditioning. It is really hot at night I had to get a fan. Wifi way too expensive more than the roaming charge for mobile .

The staff were helpfull and the facilities were clean.

Didnt like the layout of the property, like a maze and very frustrating with so many blocks/lifts. Not suitable for mature/elderly having to walk up such a steep driveway to the road.

We travelled with friends the accomodation was exceptional we had the adjoining room 701/701a loved having a bathroom per couple, transport into Queenstown an easy 2 min. walk. View from the room fantastic, will be back winter 2015.

Bedrooms a bit small with not enough room to put luggage in, the rest of the apartment was great.

The view of the Lake and the large balcony. The facilities were as described and probably exceeded our requirements for a one night stay - large fridges and freezers etc. The restaurant was good and the only thing which distinguished the hotel from a block of flats.

The hotel has a very impersonal atmosphere - being basically apartments. The access to the rooms, which are many and on many levels, is tortuous. Access from the underground car park is better. The location is well out of Queenstown, although you can walk down the side of the Lake to Queenstown in about 30 minutes - the path is a bit scruffy in places and also used by fast mountain bikers.

We loved the location of our unit, Club 402, like being in a living postcard. Heaps of things to do for ALL the family. Availability of free WIFI each day, laundry in unit. We will return.

As asked in the hotel compendium, we reported maintenance issues immediately, in writing, but they hadn't been carried out by the time we left in 6 days. {Two lights bulbs out and a missing pot lid).

The balcony, the view, the kitchen lounge set up. The doors to the balcony that could be opened fully to bring the outside inside.

In the 2 bedroom apartment the main bedroom was too small with a bed that was far too big. There was no where to place a case. Let alone unpack a case. The room had 2 bedside tables with 1 small drawer each and a tiny wardrobe. Another problem was the position of the light switch for the bathroom, on the bedroom wall next to the bedroom light, many times the bedroom was flooded with light when the bathroom light was the target. The shower in the bath in the main bedroom was not easy for rather mature people to get in and out of. We had to write a note to housekeeping staff to sweep and wash our floor on the 2nd day of our stay.

The room that we had had the best views and service was good .

Location is excellent - next to Lake and within reach of town
