Staff friendly and helpful. Close to shopping and the waterfront. Room always tidy after service.

Bedroom small. Handrail in bathroom would be useful for getting in and out of the bath.

Location (very central, easy walking distance to harbour, Queens Str etc, and... the views from 37th floor were truly AMAZING! (better than SkyTower :-))

Reception staff were slow... and not very knowledgeable. However, still very friendly and smiling... just no experience (felt like a student accommodation). Too much admin required: why do I have to give all the details electronically for booking, and then fill-out a from at reception giving the same details again?! Why do you require a photo id, and make copy thereof...?! Only one swipe card was available for us three.

We stayed on the 36th floor and it was amazing, loved the views, did not like having to leave the place, my friends and J would like to know how much it would cost for the top floor apartments?

Everything was awesome but the best part was the view and it was very cleand and close to all amenities.I would definetly go back - already making plans:) .

Parking - there were none was a bit of hallse but this was a minor issue .

The quality of the room

The hot water running out - never had that happen at a hotel around the world before

When I got into the apartment all the windows were open and it was freezing inside. There was no heating apart from a little fan heater that I could plug in to try and warm the bedroom. There was no hot water available to shave or shower in the morning. I had to boil the kettle and wash myself using the little hand basin. When I called about the hot water situation the guy just said that the boilers hadn't heated up yet? I filled out a form at reception but one offered an explanation or even an apology. Not great for a $500 a night stay.

Looking at Google Map it appeared Harbour Oaks was further away from the Viaduct area. Once we arrived location was spot on with the harbour, main transport and shops. Nice surprise.

That we had no drawers. Leaking fridge that had to have a towel in it (which was replaced by cleaners daily..so thanks for that).

Location to harbour area

Room furnishings Couch/chair in 19H were very worn, dirty and uncomfortable. Lifts were hard to use with key card. Corrodors were extremely narrow.

It's very close to the center of CBD and also a few minutes away from the ferry and sea.

Facilities are not in good condition, which brought a lot trouble for my first day at the hotel.

Air and temperature regulation. Making it hot & stuffy even with fan, even with cooler night. Would hate to be there on cold night or hot weather would be unbearable. Auckland is always noisy at night so need bedroom window closed. Surroundings make it difficult to get & from hotel safely without being harassed by drunks at night. Would not book again for these reasons.

I liked the location and the views, it was good value for money

The hotel is starting to look tired; dark marks behind check in, and carpet at check in tatty. Corridor had a lot of marks or patchy paint, my pillow had a dirt mark on it and the duvet had stains around the edges. We weren't unhappy, because we felt it was good value for money and good facilities but a spruce up would help the impression.

Very noisy room. Young people very loud in rooms or on balconeys. Bed sunk in the middle. Not made for two people. Difficult to get in and out. Had to park a long way away to check in then bring car around to unload. Very awkward taking suitcases up to lobby from car park. 10.00 am to early these days to check out, especially being kept awake most of the night with the noise above (or below) No wifi.

They provided everything in the room, very clean and tidy. Staff are friendly.

The balcony is extremely small, the bed is small and too soft, a bit noisy outside since it is in the city.

Cdb area and value for money very near by Queen street and harbor

Poor facilities (booked the queen studio but given me a queen double bed' smaller than regular queen bed). Staff is not a experienced staff. Communication issues since all the staff are Indians. (Not raciest comment but it happened when answer the phone call and take quick action)

the vews around the city was awesome and beautiful and the saff was very helpful

Location, cost, views, the fact that the rooms were self-contained with a full kitchen

The only mirror was in the bathroom - not ideal with a teenage girl in our party!

Lack of safety aids in the bathroom, I.e grab rail, non slip surfaces. We were travelling with a disabled adult and elderly parent.

View from the 36th floor balcony and the pool was very warm even on a chilly evening.

The beds are terrible. Too soft. The sheets come out, The mattress moves. No duvet, so sheets come out. The under blanket had no straps so just floated and lumpy. Wouldnt stay again with a bed like that.

It was great and will stay again if they can put us up towards the top again.
