Absolutely fantastic!! Host went completely out of his way to get me some fly spray for me and went all the way to the shop to get some. Beautiful surroundings. Can't wait to come back.

The location of this hotel is stunning, Andrew was very friendly and helpful especially when our request for twin beds hadn't come through but he went out of his way to change the room layout. I will defintely be returning to this hotel and referring my friends to it.

We were upgraded to the penthouse suite. It was superb, very high quality, wonderful kitchen and bathroom with spa bath. Just a wonderful experience. Couldn't be bettered.

Great location,very different than staying in a Motel,more spacious.

Wasn't as clean as the other two times that we have stayed and was not as quiet, as the accommodation was fearly full.

Location was fabulous. Built in countryside overlooking a little river, so you walk out of your room onto a terrace with views across the water. Very peaceful, just the sound of the water. Room was spaciois, light and airy, well-fitted out and bed very comfortable. Staff extremely friendly and helpful.

The surroundings were absolutly stunning. And the building designs are so well thought out with there placement. The facilities are very modern and I would rate 10 stars...

Everything was Great. Location: perfect 15min drive to North Egmont Visitor's Center, 10min to central New Plymouth. Located 100ms from the main road, yet one can barely hear the cars as the facilility is in a small & picturesque valley (makes you feel like you are far away from everything). Hotel: units scattered in a park in a small valley with a lake and small wood, rabbits & funny birds hopping around the house; room: perfectly clean, modern furniture and very spacious (kitchen: fridge, microwave, kettle, ceramic hob). Large bathroom with shower. Huge window (effectively the facade is from glass with views of the pond). Service: we hardly met the staff, but everything we needed was done to our satisfaction, receptionist friendly & helpful. Wifi: per cable, it was supposed to be $7 for 300mb, however they didnt charge us on check-out.

The wardrobe could be slightly bigger and few more racks would be nice, but this was insignificant. We had a great time.

Location is excellent. Amazing rural atmosphere, only 5mins from city. Room was perfect.

Clean Awesome service

Quiet location in an accommodation desert that is Taranaki. This is now our only stay over place as we have tried everything else and this is the best you get.

No air con is weird but maybe the climate is not requiring although the open windows at night creates security concerns.

It 's location overlooking the river and bush, seeing tui fly around and quail on the lawn and hearing the sheep and lambs in the paddocks and the very modern and clean facilities.

Kitchen a bit too basic (lack of grill, extractor fan). Lack of extractor fan in bathroom. Shower door didn't close properly so water ran over floor. Only one towel per person. Only 3 pillows for bed (1 more would have been nice).

Loved everything about it. The peaceful setting, the spacious room, the facilities etc. All good and at a reasonable price.

Only real criticism was that the above-bed dual wall lighting had two control switches, yet each switch controlled both lights. So that while I wanted to read at night (and expected to be able to have only one light operational on my side of the bed) it meant that the reading lights were either both turned off or both turned on.
