Rooms aren't quite what they seem on the web but they are good but smaller than I thought, it is nice and quiet there!

Close to the city and airport.

The spa was just a bathtub with some jets for air bubbles and it only seats one. Limited parking space.

I could hear a lot of noise from my room, which made it hard to sleep.

Great location. The design of the rooms was somewhat unusual. Good to have cooking facilities, but as a family of 4, we fealt it was a little tight. The stained glass window in the bedroom did not work from the practical point of view as the light woke us up in the morning. Overall however it was more than adequate for an overnight stop. I would not recommend it for a longer stay

The room service was very average and the selection in the mini bar was poor but incredibly expensive with a 300 ml bottle of very average wine costing $19.00.

Our studio room was more of a "budget room" for the price. We were told that all costs have risen in the city area because of the earthquake, and in fact, there didn't seem to be any vacancies in other hotels, lucky we pre-booked. The restaurant in the hotel seemed a bit average and I suspect that the meals are not made from scratch and had that "lean cuisine" type flavour.

It was the worst hotel I had encountered during my 8-day trip in New Zealand. It was certainly not value for money. The facilities were old and not friendly to use.

The rooms are cold and the heating is minimal and noisy.There was smell that was not in places we usually stay unless it is a more budget accomodation

The reason we stayed at this Hotel ; needed a place to stay for 5 adults for 1 night, close to the airport. Location wise and the second bedroom was a good solution for us.

Bedrooms are very small, de whole appartment is very dark, not only the interior but also lightning is very poor. You can't read a book in the living or dining area accept in the kitchen. Lock on the door with gap and safety chain doesn't give you a save feeling. Staying on the ground floor you have to bear with the noise from the staircase and your neighbours above your head. Overall for 1 night not bad value for money.
