The staff member who checked us in was excellent we had a few issues with TV not working etc, they fixed it straight away. I realised when I got to our room I must of booked the wrong room. And once again the staff member upgraded our room for us ASAP which we really appreciated. Thank you again for a wonderful stay.
Beautiful apartment, spacious. Everything you needed it had
The location was great.
The beds were very soft, pillows large and hard and room was very small. It felt like those on a tighter budget (although $200 per night is not that tight) were placed in less desirable rooms. Room description was a little stretched, room was described as having mountain and lake views. This was actually a peep through a tiny window over a wall by the fire escape. Most of the view was a concrete wall. Also think you should get complimentry coffee for each night your in the room, not just the first night. After all you have paid for each night!!! However if you want a great location and potential for a great view it's a good hotel.
Brilliant location overlooking the lake and within walking distance to the city centre. Queenstown is a hive of activity and there are so many things to do and see. The apartments are well appointed and it is worthwhile paying extra for the lake view.
Don't look under the furniture as you never know what you will find.
Well appointed apartment with spectacular view. Great balcony. Gas fireplace. Very good kitchen & cooking facilities. Washing machine & iron too.
A bit of a walk into the town.
Location is good- the included continental breakfast is good - the spa and gym is nice and the larger rooms with views in the front block look as if they would be nice
We booked a twin room with a lake view - we had a double bed with a partial view - when we complained they put us in a twin room with no view - beds are narrow and not that comfortable - they charge $40 for 3 days Internet - a real rort - and they add 2% when you use a credit card - the TV is small and channels few - I had to leave notes to get the room vacuumed. We had no view - so disappointing as I booked months before and specifically asked for that I think they keep their less desirable rooms for other booking systems than apex!
We were in a very nice appartment with the best view of the lake. Very relaxing.
The only complaint was the privacy from others. On the 10th floor you would expect the neighbouring rooms would not be able to see right in or be able a access your deck!
Great view of the lake and bath amenities.
Wifi should be free. We were told it was because of a third party provider but that's true for all wifi! If a BackPackers can do it so can this place.
Facilities as we expected as have used chain in Aust and Nz
We arrived ex Sydney am ,No iron in room , asked for delivery urgently as get to important function within 45 mins. Took over 30 mins to arrive even after a staff visited after 10 mins to say previous people had an iron and it must be there .......rubbish , it felt as if she doubted our honesty.
Mid level car park was tight to get around.
Great location and room, beautiful view of lake, lovely staff.
Fantastic apartment with views and great location walk to town.
dirty air vents in bathroom.
The location on the lake and close to the heart of Queenstown was great. The staff were excellent in all respects. The included continental breakfast was very good in quality and variety. However we were quite disappointed with the Standard King room - it was airless, and had only extremely little ventilation especially when the balcony door was closed, which it had to be at night for security. We were there three nights but were not able to be given an alternative room.
The room had no air conditioning and in mid -summer with the balcony door closed it was rather uncomfortable. The price for WiFi connection in this day and age is unreasonable when nearby Backpackers lodge offered it free of charge. Soundproofing of this room 209 was not good and noise from adjacent room and lift was intrusive. We slept with earplugs in each night.
Size of room
No free wifi in room, partial lake view from level 7 due to front building, no a/con, bathroom disappointing, no dvd player and minimal Sky channels. Expect better for a 5 star
Big spacey rooms, perfect location.
Bed need replacement
An incredible place to stay thank you for making Our say a wonderful memory
Every staff was very kind. Nice location facing Lake Wakatipu.Looking up Southern Cross from the balcony Large & clean rooms. Free parking.
Simply thought full buffet breakfast was included. But had to pay extra 10$. Featuring no bathtub.
Peppers is walking distance to just about everything you would want to do in Queenstown. We never had a need to use our car for the three nights we stayed. Peppers is a lovely, modern, clean and comfortable property and we were impressed by how quiet it was at night given its central location. The nespresso style coffee machine in our room was an unexpected bonus. The complimentary buffet breakfast was very good. Nice touch having a free guest laundry. Our room also had a lovely view of the lake. We could not have asked for more.
lake view apartment had amazing views and staff were always extremely helpful.
nothing everything was perfect
Management moved us to a lovely big, airy room on 8th floor that we were very happy with. Breakfast excellent but be warned - 'included breakfast' is continental only (no hot food unless you pay extra).
Original room tiny, hot and airless, despite having door open! Only gave "good" ratings due to the fact that first room was not satisfactory. All the rest was great and staff were very helpful.
Tidy & clean, very helpful staff, good-sized balcony with seating, washing machine & dryer in the apartment, generous amount of crockery and cutlery, comfortable beds, good location away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to join it any time.
TVs in the breakfast room! Our apartment was very close to housekeeping room, so staff moving around created some very early noise (isnt' there a way to stop that self-latching gate from slamming?). Tea and coffee were not re-stocked after the first night.
Location Great rooms Upgrade on first night View of the Lake(choose an upper level room) Manager Ashleys handling of a small mix up when checking in.
