Great Location, Lady on reception very friendly and helpful, room was superb for a Camper park!
It's all good.
Nothing I can remember!
The staff were really friendly, offering us a lift into town with our big bags when it was pouring with rain. Facilities were very clean and the bedrooms were little wooden cabins which were very cosy and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised and would recommend to anyone for a stay in Picton
short walk to town, 2 mins from ferry port, the site is spotlessly clean and well maintained. Stayed here before and would definitely stay again. friendly and helpful owners.
Compare to the amount of money you pay this is an excellent place to stay.
Small rooms but ok.
Service by staff
comfort and cleanliness of unit.
We stayed in cabin these were clean and comfortable. As this is a small campervan park all facilities were close at hand
Clean, comfortable, quiet, handy location, good laundry, friendly. Would definitely stay there again.
Very good place to stay when arriving late to or leaving early from the southern island. Quaint stay with good facilities, we enjoyed it, had everything we needed and thought it was very good value for money.
Wifi wasn't optimal.
I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent, clean facilities and the friendly staff. I was travelling with my teenage son and we enjoyed our stay. Lovely kitchen too! This was outstanding value for money. I highly recommend to others.
Nothing. This was good value for money!
Tidy and warm cabin.
great place to stay to explore the area, quite grounds, great little cabins, we stayed to catch the ferry the next day, clean shared lounge and kitchen, great friendly staff, easy walk into town to get supplies etc
very noisy since the location of the camp site is just beside one of the main road. A lot of car passing by since 6 am.
The facilities were super clean, camp was super tidy,Cabin was close to all amenities.A grocer is handy across the road.It was comforting to feel "safe" while on my own.I would gladly stay here again.
Shame the camp is not within close proximity to southern bus service. You need to walk into town which is a good 10.00/15.minute walk to the service. In bad weather it would not be good.Quiet a bit of truck/bus traffic noise. Sign posting for amenities - direction, could be a little more in the open,...like a central post with directions,I found quiet a few of the elder/foreign visitors to the camp could,nt find things, ..I can not fault it other wise.
very clean, friendly, quiet, very good wifi
Spotless, roomy, dark with curtains drawn & comfortable facilities.
If your not a good sleeper, trucks were a bit noisey
Everything was fine. Comfortable cabin, very clean and warm shower room, Nice clean kitchen/ TV room, with everything you could require, plus TV's in cabin. Boiling water on tap was useful too.
It would be useful for ferry travelers to access the kitchen before the opening kitchen time of 7:00am as you need to report by 7:00am to the ferry. Even 6:45am would work and allow travelers to keep their food refrigerated overnight. Usual traffic noises which can't be helped anyway being the terminal for the ferries.
Those cabins are cozy
Very clean facilities. Friendly staff. Handy to ferries.
Nothing really. We stayed in one of the cabins.
I will definitely stay here again. Very clean room and free tea and coffee, nice fresh sheets etc and a TV in my room..
A tiny bit of traffic noise so bring ear plugs
Very comfortable, new and nicely decorated lodges. Great for a night of good sleep.
One could hear the sound of vans passing, however, this was only audible when the window was open. With a shut window, the room was very quiet.
Couldnt sleep, very noise trucks all night
The huts are comfortable, warm and extremely clean, the bathrooms as well. There are also good facilities for cooking.
This is maybe not a minus but it got me thinking - we booked through booking.com and got an info that we got the best possible deal. Yet, when we arrived at the camp site we saw a board stating a price that was lightly lower (little difference but still made us wonder how real are the deals provided through booking.com)
Quite and comfortable place. Very clean and tidy.
Wifi is not free. There's no oven in the kitchen.
