The meal was expensive

Lovely big room and comfy beds. it was what it said on the box.

The location is hopeless if you don't have a car. ( I know its a motel). No shops nearby so we had to eat at their restaurant - which was ok but it would have been good to have some more choices.

Shuttle service and car parking while away was great. Price.

the security was excellent, id like to thank the security guy for coming out to my car when he thought it was someone else at my car.the people who clean the rooms do an excellent job many thanks to them too. My stay was very pleasant and relaxing, the beds are super comfortable. I must admit, I was not the best customer coming in and out all night, but I did my best to be considerate of others.

Someone parked in my allocated parking space :( In saying this I did not complain about it.

friendly Staff

The room smelt very rotten and I had to leave the windows open all night to get fresh air. The coffee cups and glasses in the room tasted as though the cleaners had wiped them out with a detergent soak rag.

The accommodation was very good. Being able to cook meals in the room was an advantage

We were allowed to check in a little early, though when we got to the room the cleaner was just going in, so we had to wait in the car for about 20 minutes, so it didn't end up being early.

The service wasn't great. There was no air conditioning. All the taps leaked and flooded the counter continually. It was very small. There was no sky tv. The water pressure was very weak. There was no lounge facilities, no sofa's only single beds and small kitchen chairs around a rickety table.

I loved the atmosphere, good value for money..nothing to extravagant but catered for the need. Stayed 4 nights and it was really good, the cleaners are amazing!! and also the receptionist.

The wi-fi access was a bit slack, had to hold the ipad all over the room to try and find sufficient access or to get access at all. Maybe looking at getting a bigger usage to cater for times when you have a full house??

Shuttle bus had to wait 5-10 mins for other guests - was glad I booked earlier one than first advised.

Motel wouldn't accept my Debit Visa Card - advised they would then need $50 cash as a deposit and as I didn't have the cash on me could I go down to the dairy to get it!?!

Room smelt due to water on carpet. No financial allowance for us having to sleep overnight in the smell.

I'm pretty fussy about accommodation and even though the motel was older style in decor, the bed was really comfortable, the pillows were lovely, shower had excellent water pressure, there was tea & coffee good lighting. I was travelling on my own as a single female, arriving into Auckland on a 12.30am flight. When I phoned the motel, the Shuttle bus arrived when they said it would and the gentleman was prompt with getting bags on and off, checking me in before a larger group that we were on the bus as well, which I appreciated. The wake up call was on time and the shuttle bus was on time again in the morning at 6.30am to take me back to the airport.

I was happy with my stay for what I was wanting, a safe place to put my head down. The only thing to be honest and if it was important to you, was the reception on the tv wasn't very good and the security latches on the windows were loose, so I closed the window during the night.

Value for money, close to airport, reliable shuttle service

Location, usually family friendly (pool etc.).

Extra charges for an early arrival request - stayed at many motels and first time charged for this. Request made online prior to arrival but when phoned to ensure room would be ready told of $30 surcharge. Pool wasn't clean and unfit for swimming.

Clean and close to the airport, which is why we chose it. Close to bus service. Good staff.

The food wasn't very good, although the wait staff was friendly. The floor on the shower was a piece of sheet metal. It flexed as one moved and created a trampoline effect. It was also slick. All in all a treacherous surface.
