Our car was nearly towed away even though we parked at the hotel's car park. Because the receptioninst never asked us the car registration number and never told us that we have to let them know our car registration number.

We liked the position it suited our needs as we have family within 30mins.who have not got accommodation for us,it is near to beaches and good restaurants,and golf courses.

Generally we where very happy.

For a large(7 adults) the apartments were comfortable and well located.

We have been on a 7 week trip of Nz and Oz and the Quay West Suites rate the highest amongst all the accommodation we have had. We were very impressed with all the staff from the cleaners to the reception. The suite was comfortable and very clean with a superb view of the harbour. The air con was silent so we were able to leave it on all night and stay cool, unlilke in many hotel and serviced apartments. The swimming pool was fantastic and empty first thing. Excellent stay.

The high charge for wifi in the suites. There was free wifi in the lobby but who wants to sit in a lobby everytime you want to log on. It didn't spoil it but the stay would have been 10 out of 10 with it.

Spacious apartment. Attentive staff. Large balcony.

It was perfect for our two nights in Auckland. Very good location for us to walk down to viaduct and shopping. All the staff was friendly and helpful. The cafe/restaurant was fantastic with good choice of food.

The down side was the pool and spa was closed, which was one of main reasons choosing accommodation with taking our two children!

Great size, 2 bedroom room, with 2 bath rooms, seperate lounge and dinning, with amazing views over the city harbour, like being home away from home.l

The carparking!! never any where to park apart from the hotel carpark which is very dear and the rude man working at recption

The staff your very good, as it was our aniversary they left a bottle of wine for us in our apartment.

Booking through you, i was not aware that I had to pay GST on top of your price quoted. Your price for 2 nightrs $512.00 theirs $514.00 plus 15% GST. Unexpected. It would have been nice to advise on carparking costs, also for Staff to mention that if i did use my amex card i would have an extra $8.80 plus GST for using my card. Would have liked the room cleaning service to be earlier than 4pm in the afternoon. We where back in our room by then.

The Staff was wonderful and went beyond expectations to help us through some travel challenges. Would highly recommend.

The suite was large and comfortable. We had a great view of the harbour from the 20th floor. The service and staff were first class and the hotel is located in the CBD near to the harbour.

When checking out I was unable to pay in NZ$ but in the currency where my card is registered. I was told that this happens with all credit card payments. This cost me several NZ$ and was in addition to the credit card fee which was charged by the hotel. Even on the 20th floor we could hear 'revellers' down below. The cafe was closed for most of Sunday.
