Mercure Queenstown ResortSainsbury Road, 9197 Queenstown (Show map) Very good, Score from 84 reviews“The service was excellent. The room overlooking the lake was wonderful. The scenic windows in the lounge and the dining room were spectacular. The value for money was the best I have experienced with the deal we got.”

Everything. First class all the way. As a businessman, I NEED wireless in order to function. The system there is archaic. I can get free wireless at McDonalds, but don't even have that option. So, even though I liked everything about it, I will not stay there again. Great for vacationers, unacceptable for business.

I do not like in the middle of the hotel staff keep banging our door maybe of the loud sound of the the tv, they can just ring our phone to tell us as we get nervous when in the middke of the night someone banging our door, they are not professional to handle this problem.

We got a reduced package deal which was good. The hotel was easy to find and the rooms spacious and clean. Had restaurants at the hotel whcih was good. Very freindly staff. The views spectacular. While the rooms were clean we found it looked like it was time for a bit of a spruce up. Carpets in corridors were well worn. Bathroom needed a deep clean and spruce up

The position of the hotel gives spectacular views of the lake & mountains. Facilities offered for the price were excellent. We used the pool, restaurant & laundry. All were good. The hotel is a good way out of Queenstown. The bus stops at the hotel, but the return fare is NZ$5. The position prevents a stroll into the town, say, in the evening & so we ate in the hotel.

We like the fact that it was only minutes away from the city. There was no information about water being potable. The rooms need sound proofing because we can hear the mumbling of the guests from the other room and the footsteps from the guests upstairs.

The location and the various views from different parts of the hotel. The rooms were spacious and very clean, which is something I am very fussy with. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and also the hotel as a whole was a very quiet and relaxing place to be. Only that the brochures in the rooms stated there was a Spa pool, but when we went to look for it we were disappointed to find that it had been removed.
