The beautiful scenery - friendliness of the staff and proximity to the town. We would take hot water bottles next time as no electric blankets and being older we feel the cold. However the room itself was well heated. |

The first room that was offered reeked of cigarette smoke. The second room had another party's luggage. Not impressed. Wouldn't have called it a superior room. more like a regular room, except of course for the price. |

Amazing! This hotel has the best location of all the hotels in Queenstown. It gives the best view of the lake and is a beautiful hotel. Location is excellent because it is only a 5 min walk from the city center but away from the crowd. a good place to relax. Rooms were good with a good view. Breakfast was the best I have ever had-incl in the room rate. You get a gorgeous view of the Remarkables and the lake while having breakfast. Staff was courteous and helpful. For the quality the price was really really good (cheap). I recommend this hotel over all other hotels in Queenstown! Internet rate in the room was too high-$30. Just outside in the lobby area there were computers you could use for $2 per 30 mins or so. Other than that, it was fantastic. True value for money!! |

it was no trouble for the pleasant man at reception on duty the day we arrived to bring fresh milk and more tea bags to our room. I would like to recommend him. the only thing was that I requested a room near to lifts and reception as my husband has knee replacement and limited mobility, but the room was miles away making it a bit difficult for him. I would say look at requests on booking form next time. we didnt complain at the time. |

Hotel was close to all amenities,breakfast had a wide choice but would have liked oats as a cereal.Also lost my phone and i thought it was dropped in the bar asked for assistance and a lady that was on duty that night got a key,opened bar that morning and returned my phone. |

Excellent value for money. Room upgrade was appreciated. Well suited to the purpose of our being in Queenstown. Room upstairs had a very squeaky floor. Asked if wanted a morning paper which we did not receive even after asking again. |

I had 2 different rooms, on 2 different nights, cheapest rate, close to town centre for walking, I think if had room facing lake view would be great Steps at entrance, so had to lift case rather than roll up ramp, first night room opened to bar/pool area and very noisy, quite cold despite having oil column heater on, cheaper rate rooms quite shabby but clean |

I enjoyed the lake view and comfort to the room was very relaxing the location was very close to town without being right in the centre. The hotel staff were very helpful and accommodaitng to my needs The first impression was good until I saw the room that they had booked me into. Once I talked to the hotel staff at reception they immediately upgraded me to a more luxurious room so I was alot happier |
