Lack of desk chair.

Very clean - much appreciated that proprietrer waited up for us to arrive off late ferry

Felt it met our needs as we only stayed overnight.

Thought the price was a bit steep.(We come from Wanganui)

Comfortable bed and chairs Wi Fi included in the price As a microwave was the only cooking facility, they provided 1 Pyrex dish with lid to use. Luggage seat is an excellent idea.

Taps over the sink and hand basin old style single hot / cold were too close to the edge of the sink. Double shower doors opened out into the bathroom, were difficult to open and the water from the running show would come out onto the lino. The edge of the door would sometimes hit the shower mixer and turn show back on as you stepped out.

Hard beds. Would expect better for the price.

It was quiet and handy to wear we had a xmas function.

It is convenient, walking distance to business, close to Jackson Street amenities, 5-10mins by car to Westgate Mall

One thing very slightly niggled at me, especially sitting on the toilet, you face the lovely magnificent big clean shower, then you cast your eyes down the outside doors at the bottom just a small patch (size of 50c) paint is coming off (could be match paint and touched up) which would also cover the very small bit of black mould. Otherwise nothing else mattered, even the earthquake was minimal

Large rooms/suite, very reasonable rates for quality of accommodation

The cleanliness and comfort. It was also very well equipped. No excessive noise, quiet.

Was surprised at the quietness at night when we were on the roadside. Beds were comfortable and warm with good room ammenities. Nicely decorated and comfortable furniture.

A grab rail over the bath for ease in to shower would be nice as there is nothing to hang on to for elderly people. The stairs were a little difficult for some of our elderly transporting luggage upstairs. If a lift is not an option perhaps someone to deliver the bags up to the rooms?

Very friendly welcome with helpful information. The room was well designed, clean and the bed very comfortable. The Lodge is within easy reach of Jackson Street where there are many different restaurants to choose from. It is only ten minutes drive from the Interislander Ferry terminal for travel to the South Island.

Location. Comfortable. Nice people.

Its location and easy access - given where I was heading.
