The staff were very freindly and nearly all were helpful, just 1 staff member didnt seam to want to be there. We asked for the linnen to be changed on the beds and this was not done! Also no pen and paper in the room. |

The evening concert and meal at the hotel was a superb way to experience the traditional culture of the Maori people for which New Zealand has become internationally recognised. |

Swimming pool is far far too small for the size of the hotel. Only 3 small spas available and not all the stayers can use them. No air conditioning for rooms and it is very very hot in summer |

Location, convenience.Opportunity to give feed back. We had the fire/evacuation alarm malfunction - State of the spa pools : have filed my 'concerns' in the 'complaints' option, but probably it is concerns, not complaints. |

very helpful staff friendly and did thier best to accomidate all wants. room needed to be vaccumed under the beds when i dropped some thing the rolled under the bed their was all sorts of small bits and pieces under the beds rubber bands and bits of platic etc |

Very dissapointed we were not contacted regarding the cancelled Hungi and concert, it wasn't made clear to us that it was been held at another Hotel, we were left with no plans or reservations for dinner at 6.30pm on a saturday night. Had a unfriendly welcome from the maid. |

Location is close to the lake as stated in website and the room in general is spacious for two. Also, the location of the room I was given was not as expected. The coffee/tea maker was not clean the color was more towards green instead of bright white. I could not make any coffee or tea. |

Although you could not offer the Maori Cultural Show on Good Friday your reception staff ensured that we went to a terrific show and dinner at the Heritage at an extremely reasonable price; not only that the staff called me in Australia to advise me of this and also made an effort to find out if the Luge was operating on Good Friday. Great TV in the room - with ability to connect son's PS3! 1) Parking a little difficult (after returning from Heritage at 9.15pm) but that was because you must have been at/near 100% occupancy. 2) Apparently you have a hold on an extra $50 on our credit card for five days after our stay? Not happened anywhere else during our NZ holiday. No mini bar so cannot see why this was necessary. 3)Prefer internet in room. |

The bed was very very comfortable Unfortunately the staff in the restaurant where very poor. Did not bother to come back for dirty plates or ask if we required desert etc, we had to go and look for them when we needed something. We were not the only ones to do this either. Very disappointing especially as the food was really lovely. |
