very clean we really liked our stay the staff were friendly rooms were great
The fact that Glen was happy to give me a late check-out (as I have the flu) was very kind.
Noise of a laundry room woke me up at 5.00 in the morning
The room was spacious and clean. With it being winter as well the room was lovely and warm.
Although we had booked into the motel we arrived after having a major car crash. We had no car and no belongings. The management were amazing and went out of their way to help us. Our injuries meant we were unsure when we could leave but this was not a problem. At all times they did as much as possible to help us. The comfort of the room meant it was a great place to recover and its central location meant we could access food and medical help easily
Everything! From the initial welcome, to the spa bath, to the bathrobe, to the cookies and hot drink options. A VERY enjoyable stay!
Had to leave.
It was ideal for our needs in attending a conference.
Friendly and helpful staff. The suite was bright and fresh, the spa bath a teal treat. Nice and close to the center of the village. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Nice welcome, no problem with checking in early. Nothing was too much trouble. Very clean unit and very comfy bed!
Just right size and facilities for what was required.
Good location and clean and pleasant.
Great location, spacious rooms, extra towels, and well stocked with kitchen and bathroom products.
Cleaning product smell
Very spacious. Great bathroom.
Perfect location for access to Napier, the coast and the vineyards.
The two bedroom suite (we required 2 bedrooms as we were travelling with our adult daughter) was clean, spacious and well appointed. It was centrally situated so we could walk to Havelock North village. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The bathroom fan was noisy and took a long time to turn off!
Close to shopping area and bars and restaurant's
A ground floor unit might have been better on this occassion
The location is ideal. We have a one year old daughter and there is a playground 5 minutes walk away. The village is virtually across the street and has a great selection of boutique shops, cafes, restaurants and a supermarket for use during your stay.
My parents were staying next door to us in a separate unit and my Mum had a fall in the shower. We let the manager know and he provided some grip cloth to use but he didn't check to see that all was okay after the incident. Non slip mats may be a good idea for use in the shower/bath. We found it to be a little slippery when we bathed our young daughter too.
Location is fabulous, walking distance to shops and cafés etc Rooms nice and big, and very clean. Kitchens well equipped with everything you need. Very Comfy beds
Information said it had en-suite bathroom which it doesn't. I booked accomodation intending my in-laws to be with and they like their own bathroom, so when I read it had en-suite I assumed it meant it had 2 bathrooms. Slightly misleading. However I mentioned it to the owner and he said he would review wording on website. Furniture is a little tired, rips in arms of chairs.
The owner was very helpful. The room was very big. The location was excellent.
We had roaches in the room. When I checked out and mentioned it, he said the pest control would come 11 days later. The airconditioning was very noisy. The tub was very slippery
Great location, walking distance to shops. Handy to the New World Supermarket. Facilities clean and comfortable. Excellent value for money when taking into account availability of SKY and spa bath. The extra milk provided in the unit's fridge was a bonus.
We liked everything.
The location. Te Mata Lodge is literally right in the middle of the village with plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars within 2-3 minutes walking distance. And in spite of Te Mata Lodge being located on a busy road, there was minimal traffic noise to be heard inside the accommodation. I would definitely stay there again.
The location was perfect in the middle of town, and the spa bath was my highlight.
The owner was very friendly and easy going. The unit was very clean and the whole experience was easy.
Location, convenience, good rooms.
Would prefer a proper desk for laptop and working.
Very welcoming, great customer service. So close to everything, yet very quiet location.
The space of the rooms. We had a room on the end and the park (rugby club) over the fence. The bath. Walkable into the town. Shops.
Parking was a little tight.
