Comfort, handy to shops and restaurants
The Lodge suited us just fine. We had 2 units, one for parents, one for adult daughters and child. The staff provided cot and highchair, and we had everything we needed. Thank you very much
I felt the location was great - you could walk to the shops/cafe's /supermarket. The room was lovely and the spa bath was fabulous - cleanliness was fabulous. The price was good for what we got. I felt I would come back again
Customer service is essential for business continuity and as such customers should receive a high level of service. I felt that on a arrival and when handing in our key the lady who I assume is the manager at the counter was not very engaging -- in fact when we handed in the key and thanked her for the stay she didn't even look at us or respond...this was a let down. Maybe she was having a bad few days.
Location was excellent, close to wedding venue, great for shopping as shops surround motel. Closeness to Hastings & Napier, and surrounding vineyards.orchards, absolutely brillant.
King size bed, seemed harder, than our own. Found staff smoking outside our unit on their break, distasteful as smoke drifted in to our room, from under our closed front door. Realize staff need break, but perhaps they could smoke round the back of units.
Great location, very easy walk to Havelock North. Spacious clean modern facilities
Exceptionally clean, friendly staff ,arrived early and able to check in with a smile.
The proprietor was a lot of fun
Hard to cross the road into town - it was market day and there were diversions in place which came past the motel.
Really close to town, one bedroom unit was spacious, good comfortable easy chairs, very clean and tidy
need chopping board in kitchen, please
Helpfulness of motel people
very clean we really liked our stay the staff were friendly rooms were great
The fact that Glen was happy to give me a late check-out (as I have the flu) was very kind.
Noise of a laundry room woke me up at 5.00 in the morning
The room was spacious and clean. With it being winter as well the room was lovely and warm.
Although we had booked into the motel we arrived after having a major car crash. We had no car and no belongings. The management were amazing and went out of their way to help us. Our injuries meant we were unsure when we could leave but this was not a problem. At all times they did as much as possible to help us. The comfort of the room meant it was a great place to recover and its central location meant we could access food and medical help easily
Everything! From the initial welcome, to the spa bath, to the bathrobe, to the cookies and hot drink options. A VERY enjoyable stay!
Had to leave.
It was ideal for our needs in attending a conference.
Friendly and helpful staff. The suite was bright and fresh, the spa bath a teal treat. Nice and close to the center of the village. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Nice welcome, no problem with checking in early. Nothing was too much trouble. Very clean unit and very comfy bed!
Just right size and facilities for what was required.
Good location and clean and pleasant.
Great location, spacious rooms, extra towels, and well stocked with kitchen and bathroom products.
Cleaning product smell
Very spacious. Great bathroom.
Perfect location for access to Napier, the coast and the vineyards.
The two bedroom suite (we required 2 bedrooms as we were travelling with our adult daughter) was clean, spacious and well appointed. It was centrally situated so we could walk to Havelock North village. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The bathroom fan was noisy and took a long time to turn off!
Close to shopping area and bars and restaurant's
A ground floor unit might have been better on this occassion
The location is ideal. We have a one year old daughter and there is a playground 5 minutes walk away. The village is virtually across the street and has a great selection of boutique shops, cafes, restaurants and a supermarket for use during your stay.
My parents were staying next door to us in a separate unit and my Mum had a fall in the shower. We let the manager know and he provided some grip cloth to use but he didn't check to see that all was okay after the incident. Non slip mats may be a good idea for use in the shower/bath. We found it to be a little slippery when we bathed our young daughter too.
