Overall quality of place was good with excellent staff. Very good breakfast provided and good location. Question whether one really receives value for rates charged.

L accueil est très froid car la réception est dans une petite maison a côté de l hotel. La reception digne d un Formule1 sauf que la chamber coute 400 nzd. La deco est quelconque et les couloirs resemblent a des couloirs de prefabrique. La chambre est propre mais la deco glauque au possible. Le petit dej est ok mais rien d exceptionnel.

The staff are nice. View and breakfast good. Maybe fox glacier in general is more expensive than other places in south island, but this hotel feels more like a good motel than boutique hotel. Not very good value for money.
