Terrace Motel  

Whilst there we had a need to call a nurse for a medical problem. The staff were very helpful and arranged everything for us,

A good motel experience all around without being outstanding. Excellent access to activities including glacier hikes, heli flights etc

All was good motel wise. Local restaurants were pricey but the food quality didn't match the prices.

Rosemary and her husband were extremely friendly and especially helpful with our helicopter booking. Room was warm and spacious.

Our original heli-hike was cancelled due to the weather but we were allowed to leave our car at the motel even though we had checked out after re-arranging the hike for the following day.

fantastic location and in good walking distance for socialising, friendly staff and good service.

the bed was very small and the room cld easily have accomodated a larger bed. both of us overhung the end of the bed. for this reason we would not stay at this accomodation again.

in a wet town a dryer in the room would be handy for travellers

Tom and Rosemary made us feel so welcome. We loved having the Kitchenette. We were tired of dining out, and loved being able to have a home cooked meal.

Close to everything and room was of a good standard

On arrival we were shown our room and as we had a portacot we were given a larger unit so it would fit in our room. Thought this was excellent service. Liked the touch of the mints on the table!. Excellent kitchen facilities. Very nice friendly staff

Possibly the room was a bit dark as the only windows were in the bedrooms. However it was nice and roomy so we're not complaining!

It Was the most expensive 2 bedroom motel we have stayed in We are still in a state of shock at the price of such a basic standard of accomodation and will not be recommending it to any future visitor to the region. I am annoyed at myself for not picking up on the pricing in the initial email, Thanking You
