The personal touch with the library and a complimentary night cap if you want. The staff so helpful and friendly.
Not enough vegetarian menu options.continental breakfast costly.
The character of the Hotel was rich and well maintained with attention to detail in every area, I particularly enjoyed the complimentary port in the library after dinner.

Could find mini bar prices in room No coffee at breakfast
Very friendly & efficient staff. Location. Interior decor, library, complimentary port. Excellent service in restaurant. Loved the Churchill Bar.
Would ask next time for a room with shower only, rather than over the bath. Restaurant food and wine a little pricy, although very good.
The room, ambience, bar and restaurant were all excellent, as was the evening meal and the breakfast. The staff went well past what one might expect.
Nothing to dislike.

Great food at the restaurant Lovely building and location great rooms amazing staff
we like everything especially the gentleman in the restaurant who looked after us.he was so passionate about his job and was so helpful. the rooms were clean and very comfortable. we definitely we will stay again.
The Indian restaurant around the corner was amazing. Highly recommended
The Hotel itself has a lot of potential but it's in need of some "sprucing" up. First thing you see when you walk in are bowls of fruit, lift up a piece to see the rest of it covered in mold. You didn't know who were staff (no name badges no uniform) and who were what look like casual people just walking around. The guy who the receptionist said was her boss was walking around in a hoodie. In the morning when we went to make a coffee the plunger hadn't been cleaned properly and there was tea left over from previous people in the milk jug. Pretty much putting the icing on the cake for our County Hotel experience.
