Overlooking Hawke’s Bay, Nautilus offers stylish rooms with a spa bath and a private balcony or patio. This Art Deco inspired hotel has an on-site restaurant that is open for breakfast and dinner.
Score from 122 reviews Wonderful
The friendliness of the staff. The sea view from our balcony. The FOC use of laundry. The use of videos
The lack of a hob to cook with. Why not have a free standing hob which you lend out from reception. What did you expect us to wash in the built in dish washer. The smell from the restaurants large chimney across the road.
The staff are always pleasant. Location is fabulous. We just keep coming back.
I think wi-fi should be included in the room rate
Rooms were overall impressive and comfortable, tasteful decor.
Pillows were a little bit too firm for our liking (woke up with a kink neck).
For the first time in our lives we went in our swimming gear over the street and swimming in the sea in the early morning. Complete privacy and a wonderful swim.
Distance to downtown dining places.
Beautiful views of the sea and the location of hotel near cafés and trendy shops made it a great place to stay. Covered parking was a bonus.
Smoking on the next door balcony!
Free laundry facilities, free DVD loan, huge, comfortable bed, spacious room
The Management assisted with organising christmas dinner at another venue as their restaurant was closed on 25/12/14. This was very helpful.
Everything. The manager was so nice sending us wine for our anniversary.
The rooms were quite nice, but hotels a bit expensive..
kitchen equipment was not so good, my ladle was broken..
Facilities were perfect for our stay, close to bars and event we attended. Plenty of room in rooms
Simply comfortable. Easy parking. Good location. Clean. Sufficient space.
Internet access policy too cumbersome. Today free wifi should be a no brainer. Hotel please change.
Bed size of suite
Third floor west facing rooms very very hot and no double glazing traffic niose
Loved the products in the bathroom
The couch not very comfy
Nice hotel , good location and good facilites laundry very good.
A bit of a shambles in the coffee shop over whether we had paid for everything left us dealing very unhappy
Not enough kitchen ware for cooking meals.
Close to the airport with Napier a short drive around the point. Wonderful location with bars and delis on your doorstep. Wonderful facilities and staff. Stayed i the heritage building this time with beautiful sized room. Milk and Honey the adjoining cafe serves a wonderful soda. L'Occitan products are used for the Bathroom. Wonderfully appointed.
The beds were hard and something I was not use to.
We came back which is testimony enough. Lovely staff. Fabulous places to eat nearby. Will return again
Very minor but the limit on wi-fi usage is occasionally irritating
Location, away from the city center but only 6mins by car. Lots to choose from to eat down by the marina which is the best place to eat around this area.
Nothing it was a lovely weekend away.
Your staff are just fantastic, professional, friendly, well presented and polite. We loved the decor of the room.
We stayed in a Heritage suite which looked huge in the photo when booking. I was disappointed with the size of the room. I thought for the price we would have a nicer view, a king size bed and a larger spa bath(that is not located right next to the toilet.)
The Crown was a lovely place to stay nice comfy large bed, roomy with the added bonus of a large deck to go and sit out on. Lovely views out over the water. A great choice of places to eat all in walking distance, Excellent strong shower in a large bathroom. Highly recommend staying here and appropriately rated at over a 9
perhaps next time I would ask for a water front room, but we still had a view from our room on the side street
The wrap around balcony was great with lovely views. Plenty of space and the staff were helpful.
Not actually in Napier centre and slightly overpriced for a 1 night stay. Tv reception was awful and no wifi in the room.
We spent our wedding night here and have no complaints. We had a gorgeous room looking over the bay which would have been great to stay in longer. A lovely touch was a bottle of bubbly to congratulate us on our wedding. Location is great and rooms clean and comfortable.
Contemporary interiors Location good On site restaurant excellent Attention to detail
