Excellent service, Hotel staff were very friendlyand attentive throughout our stay, good menu, very comfortable room, well equiped.

Lovely hotel - little art deco in lobby. Excellent service, very helpful staff. Restaurant was good - food at breakfast buffet was excellent.

From the moment of my arrival in a slightly stressed state the staff just took over, smoothly, quickly and had my car parked, my room available ahead of time, my luggage delivered and there followed a great weekend at the hotel. I cant speak highly enough of all the staff I encountered during my stay. Friendly but unobtrusive and very helpful.

Everything, from the concierge parking my car through reception, fantastic room, marvellous food at Eight Restaurant. Would like to go back. .

The fact that I had only one night there - would love to stay longer.

Hotel was well appointed, has everything you need for a city hotel, plenty of willing & very friendly staff who could not have done any more for us. You are greeted at the front door and from then everything is very professional.

Insipid air conditioning, stuffy room.

General feel of the hotel was really good.

Jacuzzi was never free, the bed was lumpy and pillows left both my wife and I with sore necks in the morning.

The service was impeccable...especially the guys who served the "high tea" they were stunning...the whole stay there was topped off by those people

That some idiot in charge decided to get rid of the beautiful bed covers and replace them with a white sheet.The reason we decided on the Langham in the first place..trip advisor reviews with photos etc..apart from the good reviews, the place looked great..wood panelling,marble everywhere, chandeliers...and very tasteful bed coverings. So when we arrived in the room...we thought our bed had not been made up.Went down to inform the staff and they told us the news,who agreed with our opinion.Next, those who are in charge of making decisions like that might decide to replace the chandeliers with fluro lighting...paint over the marble....who knows!.It was simply the most stupid change we have ever seen.They certainly will not gain by decisions like that, only lose by them. It's part of the overall ambience....hell I could go on and on....just change them...anything but a white sheet...I have stayed in cheap hostels in Barcelona that had more attractive bed covers...Kane

Nice ambience a good restaurant/coffee shop friendly and helpful staff. Well priced and Free WiFi for loyal customers. Generally a very pleasant stay!

Hotel decor too dark and a bit old fashioned. Some of promotional material in pale pink colour..yuk!! Valet Parking @ nz$40 per day... Too expensive when other hotels charge less and many Carparks in the area are far cheaper...

Great bed linen, comfy pillows, outdoor swimming pool and spa fantastic, check in staff friendly and accomodating

We couldn't check in on time so had to wait around. We were on a 24 hr get away so were wanting to make the most of our one day stay.

Great staff nothing was a problem

Staff at breakfast quickly attended to you and assigned you a table. The guy at the front door greeting is worth his weight in gold! When staff at reception saw you waiting they quickly attended to you.

We loved our stay at The Langham. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was a really good size with a very comfortable bed and spacious bathroom.

Liked fast checkin, also the extra mile that the staff went to in upgradeing our travelling friends and the xtra effort to make the occassion that we were celebrationing that little bit special

On arrival, we upgraded at extra cost to a Club room (located on the 8th floor). Absolutely first rate and gave us complimentary access to additional lounge facilities on floor 10 (including a good breakfast and all day snacks) which was a real plus.

Our dinner experience on the first night in "Eight Restaurant" was appalling - service was slow verging on non existant and my spagetti dish was "gloopy" and tasteless. Evening meal on the second night was enjoyed on Ponsonby Street.

Luxury Luxury Luxury!!! The best hotel I have ever stayed in. I overheard an American talking to his freind in the lift and he said "once you've stayed in a Langham Hotel you would not sstay anywhere else" how right he was. A brilliant weekend in a superb hotel.

Everything. The room was spacious and the staff most helpful.

Location is just little far from the CBD but the shuttle service offers a solution

We absolutely fell in love with this hotel. The breakfast buffet has a huge variety of offerings, and each one is quite fresh and delicious. Extremely friendly staff. Beautiful accommodations. Close to everything without having to deal with hustle and bustle of downtown.

Loved it, decor fabulous , beds so comfee, didn't want to leave my room

Service - Because had stayed with them in Hong Kong they provided complimentary wi-fi. Bed turndown nightly with complimentary bottled water. Comfort - Beds were extremely comfortable and every amenity needed was available in the room with soundproof windows.

The lobby has a good design.

The SPA area is mediocre for a five stars hotel
