Interestingly different Very nice cookies Quite hany for visiting our relatives in Te Awamutu. Motel in Te Awamutu had bad reviews on internet, so that is why we choose you.

No magnifying mirror for shaving and makeup plus not enough light in bathroom.

Food was good. Good friendly service. we could go for a walk and didn't have far to town.

It was our honeymoon. We didn't think there was anything special done to welcome us as a newly weds.

The location was lovely

The false advertising, it was advertised as luxury, that was a joke! There was nothing about this property that was luxury! Shame though as it has potential...just needs lots more improvements.

Everything, just sorry we couldn't have stayed longer, we were on our way bak to the UK and it seemed an ideal place to finish the holiday, hope to be back again in the near future.

Beautiful setting

Close to Hamilton International Airport - approx 5 mins. Food in general good although pricey given where this hotel is located. Main meal was excellent - Schnapper. Dessert average - Tiramisu disappointing.

Light sensor on 2nd floor didn't pick up movement from room, so pitch black when you left in the evening & a nervous walk down 3 stairs with arms outstretched to prevent potential falling. no refrigerator in the room for milk, so making a fresh tea or coffee a challenge. Main highway goes past the hotel so there's a lot of noise. There is NO lift for luggage, therefore you are lugging your suitcase(s) up metal stairs. No assistance offered by the hotel.

Nice setting

We paid 245 for a room which was so small and cramped, I think we were in the wrong room as we paid top dollar,

The cottage made for a good place for the three males in our group to stay, and also allowed us to use the lounge facilities for our business meetings.

Rooms are not sound proof

Bathroom was highlight

After waiting for over 30mins for our breakfast we had to leave as we could not find a single staff member to help us and our taxi was waiting

The food was excellent and the staff and owners very friendly. The atmosphere is lovely

Cheap instant coffee in the rooms I have stayed in cheaper hotels. Motels and B&B's with good plunger coffee in each room. Missing touchs like a box of tissues in the room.

The hotel is stunning, it is a beautifully crafted building with lovely views all around. The rooms are comfortable and spatious. Breakfast was great.

The cleanliness was ok but far from perfect - the maid who did our room had a terrible attitude and the beds weren't done properly and we even found a tissue in ours, upon arrival the bath was full of dead fruit flies. Our rooms were very hot, when opening the windows to let the fresh evening air in we got swarmed by mozzies. The food was terribly dissappointing, we'd read great reviews but it was nothing to rave about, and the desserts were pretty poor - the breakfast was great but lunch, far from it. The hotel is also a little far from everything.

When you pay 25nzd per person for breakfast as a resident you don't expect to be charged an extra 9.50nzd for a coffee and orange juice. Spooky, dark entrance into hotel and everywhere dimly lit. definitely needs for lighting and a warmer reception. Booked a studio for a 12 night stay whilst visiting family nearby. Room allocated initially was small and dingy,carpeting stained and dirty and quite frankly unacceptable at the price. Moved to a better room on request. Disappointed at this since we were for most of our stay the only guests in the place. Had to leave one night early but got no refund for this since "we did not book directly with hotel". Apparently has a good reputation for dining which may be more enjoyable experience during summer months. It would have to be at those prices.
