easy check in, nice room, fresh and clean

poky balcony, shower was for paraplegics and although I undressed and placed my clothes far away from the shower, I exited to find a large swimming pool which had drenched my clothes. Was lucky I put my cellphone on the counter!!!!

The unit was very clean and so close to some nice cafes, restaurants and the beach. No need to have a car. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great facilities with a really well stocked kitchen with even Champagne flutes (nice) and a very comfortable bed.

Not the resorts fault but it was quite noisy with trucks delivering to the supermarket just below us and also the bus terminal not far away.

Position in Orewa - very easy to get around shops, cafes and seafront. We had a car and was able to drive to the Bay of Islands, spend time there and return easily in the day. Staff were very friendly & efficient and room was better than expected - very roomy and airy. Car park was secure and easily accessed.

There was nothing for us to dislike!

We liked the size and the facilities of the appartment. You have free car parking and the staff was very nice during our stay. There is a nice gym and swimming pool and there are lots of shops, supermarkets and cafe's within 3 minute walk from the building.

The balcony was very small but we already knew this due to the photo'S. You do have a see view on every side of the building / balcony

Could find the dishwasher. Its been years since I was on a tea towel. Nearly forgot how to use one

The location is absolutely beautiful.

The rooms didn't have enough ventilation in the hot weather. There was no air conditioner only a pedestal fan

Efficient and friendly staff, clean and tidy unit, central location

Rather impersonal being a high block with permanent residents, could be noisy early morning opposite shopping centre deliveries, unfortunately rained the whole 4 days we were there!

The glasses and some of the bowls were stored too high for me to reach! I am 5'2"

We came initially for 4 days in November, we have since amended this & we're now booked here until the end of January.

The milk was rotten - it was past it's used by date.I Mentioned it to the cleaning staff and she basically just shrugged her shoulders

It was within walking distance of many eating facilities. The beach was very close also. Staff at nearby facilities were vy friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and fairly modern, bright and mostly comfortable.

The lack of welcome at reception when we arrived, lack of sleep during the night due to the very hard bed, and very noisy people next door. Even when the people next door were walking to their bathroom you could hear every little bit of noise, very thin walls and lining? Were advised on arrival that sitting out on the deck was not advised due to the pigeons but even when we went to look out on our balcony it was all stringed off so it was inaccessible anyway and the room windows were very dirty so we couldn't see out much either. When we departed and handed in our keys the reception staff didn't even ask if we enjoyed our stay and if everything was okay......so I took it upon myself to tell them I was disappointed about the lack of sleep, etc. They didn't even seem that interested or apologetic. I will not be staying there or referring them to anyone only feeding back how bad the customer service was. I understand that they are not responsible for noisy peoe staying there to an extent but a friendly approach to your stay is very important especially when we don't get away very often and were left feeling like we had wasted our hard earned money staying there when staying at the local camp ground may have been a better option!

Location of complex. Cleanliness of suite. Room was nice and warm when we arrived. Lovely decor and furniture. Met two permanent residents who were most helpful re places to eat etc. Great to have secure parking. Fantastic views

Well laid out room with good shower but a slighty lumpy bed and as many people appeared to be smoking on the balconcies and below in a court yard area it was smelly.

Der Service ist doch sehr eingeschränlt, wenn z.B. inkl. Frühstück angeboten ist das nciht wirklich etwas, was man als Frühstück schätzt: Material im Kühlschrank abgestellt, den Rest macht man selber. Aber man kann sehr gut in unmittelbarer Nähe etwas ordentliches, frisches zum Frühstück einkaufen.

I enjoyed the stay, it was like being in a different country for the weekend which was lovely! My partner loved the hotel too! Very nice. Would Definatly recommend and stay again!

shampoo bottle would not stop running, something broken on stopper and it kept dribbling on to the shower floor
