The location was fantastic for sightseeing, being so centrally located. The water pressure of the shower was fantastic! The price was very good value, and lower than expected. |

I liked the central location, however the hotel coordination and service by some individual staff was poor. Some staff were terrific- particualrly the man on the night shift. When we first checked in I was informed that my credit card was disallowed - which caused me quite a bit of worry as i knew this to be incorrect. We returned to the hotel a week later and the same staff member was on reception. He took my card and when I reminded him there was a problem with my card last time he said that there was a problem with the machine- not my card !!. This is a good example of poor communicatrion which caused unnessary worry to myself. We also had problems with the VIp cards that we had as a group booking in order to access 3 different floors . The cards did not wqork properly and we wasted a lot of time. |

The room was excellent. Small bathroom but hey , it all worked. Reception Staff were very friendly and helpfull. The Quadrant had a 'fresh breath of air' about it. Being stuck in a jammed elevator , luckily for a very short time, as the heat off the halogen lights and very little air movement created stuffy conditions , which could have been serious had it been longer and with more people in the elevator. |

room service, even though it could be improved by serving a few non breakfast item at breakfast time. when you are jetlagged, you may not want to follow the classical breakfast fare in the morning. the best thing was the staff, all levels, they tried really their best. size of the rooms> we had the one room appartment. so much furniture for the size, we could have only one big suitcase opened at any time, and of course we had two. Also, we booked it for wifi acces, it took over 4 hours to set it up. on the second day when we left the room, 2 out of 3 lifts were out of order. design has been favored over to comfort and practicality the bathroom sink is good only for watching hands. the gym is, for want of a better word, a joke. these are not complaints, but facts. |

Apartment was lst class, cleaned daily and towels etc changed daily.Good location for ferries, shops, and large supermarket a shot wlak way. Park opposite hotel. Lack of lift, only a car park lift which did not service many of the apartment block. If elderly or unfit this could cause a problem. |

Very good central location. Modern attractive rooms. Well fitted kitchenette. Neither the dishwasher or microwave worked so had to request maintenance to fix the problems. |

The hotel is located fairly centrally to the wharf and ferries. It was nice to be able to walk. I was shocked that neither room we booked had air conditioning. Had you been clear about no a/c we would not have stayed with you. Auckland in the summer can be hot and humid. We were lucky the weather was cooler than usual. Very poor marks on this count! Not knowing if other rooms have a/c, I would never recommend to someone else. |

We rang the hotel the night before arrival to tell them we were arriving 1 hr before their stated book in timeo of 3pm and requested an earlier checkin as we had to wash and dress for a wedding, this did not happen and we had to shower and change using the gym shower/wc. Surley house keeping could have concentrated on any special requests such as ours before attending to regular room servicing. |

i liked that our room was cleaned neatly when we returned from shopping shower was broken that needed to be fixed,it came right of the wall so i had to hold it while i showered.But other than that everything else was good. |
