Modern clean and comfortable. Fairly close to main streets. Poorly stocked kitchen for cooking. Lower level rooms get alot of noise from outside at all hours. Not great location for anyone with inability to walk well due to steep road to main streets.

Good spot for a fairly reasonable price. Hotel restaurant open fairly late, reasonably priced, and pretty good.

The convenience to cbd and being able to walk. The valet parking of the car was very efficient and timely. The room was very small with no view from the balcony. But you do get what you pay for. The option was probably there to pay more for a bigger room or a room with a view.

No carparking and no indication of this when booking. Having to pay a $200 cash bond even though the credit card had already been charged. Staff rudely asking if my partner was even staying there when he went down to buy a toothbrush....

We really enjoyed our stay at The Quadrant Hotel, we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of our room and overall whole experience at the hotel. This hotel was excellent value for money and I would definitely recommend the hotel to others and stay there for future visits to Auckland. There wasn't much to dislike about the hotel, the only aspect would perhaps be the uphill walk towards the hotel.

The location was good. The lcation is ok but the rooms did not face either the city or the (full) harbour. The room was not two rooms but a makeshift two rooms and too small for 4 adults. I would not recommend the hotel or stay there again.

Great location and facilities for the price. Hard to beat the value from what I've seen. Rooms are a bit small and especially the bathroom but perfectly adequate. The elevator key security works about 50% of the time and you have to keep going to the front desk to get new keys.

The location is ideal The man serving in the bar & the restaurant was very pleasant & efficient for one on his own. I booked a 2 bed suite, full kitchen faciliies - there was no pan or coking utensils in the room, towels ony for 2, not 4. There were only 2 ordinary tea bags, the rest were flavoured - when we asked for more, we were given 3 ordinary, ceylon. I booked this off the internet and was disappointed. We ate at the restaurant and there was a shortage of staff - 1 very nice man doing the bar & the restaurant - not good enough. I have already been asked by friends if it is worth staying here - I wont be again as your inhouse standard is very ordinary.

We got a good price. The hotel is trendy, opposite University of Auckland and about 5 minutes walk to Queen Street and shopping and transport. Also within walking distance to Jucy car hire and it takes 15 minutes to walk up Parnell Street for multiple choice restaurants. Bathrooms in Studio room only have shower, basin & toilet and are pretty small.

Nice room with adequate facilities but studio was very small. No privacy, the apartment block next door are very close and directly opposite the window. Hotel was noisy and I didn't get much sleep. Bathroom fair, shower and no bath. A shame there was a really funky smell coming from the toilet. Noisy, smelly toilet, not very private

Very professional and friendly staff, very helpful and well organised. I would Highly recommend this hotel. I think making the room booking fee known would have been nice for the traveller. But that might bee at my end. :) (I did not book the service)

Location, staff did try. I lived here when it was a luxury building with excellent service. Now it is like a sort of fancy bus stop for confused backpackers, families and students..all crowding in 24/7. Period stains on bedding, smoke in curtains that took 3 days to air, slow service, terrible food. I am not finnicky but this was sad for me to see.. My lungs were actually sore!!

“Our hotel room was not what we were expecting for the price. The room was beautiful with its decor and it was spacious.
