The view The family who run the Waters The view The location The design The cleanliness Zetta, the owners' dog
Paying an extra $25 a night to have our dog stay
Almost everything and Claire was really helpful
Proximity of other tourist facilities, which may be a bonus to some people
For a B&B we liked the fact that the villas were separate from the main house. We liked the newness of the property and of course the views out to sea
We would have like a cooked breakfast to be included
The Waters is a wonderful accommodation. It is the perfect spot to head to the wineries, Nelson, and Abel Tasman, each within about a half hour drive or less from the Waters. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Carole provided us with great restaurant recommendations and suggestions for hiking and other activities. Each room has both a fantastic view of the sea and a quiet little pond in the back. A lovely breakfast is provided each night for the following morning. The room was great, very clean with nice amenities. We would highly recommend the Waters .
Wonderful stay, wonderful staff, wonderful views.
Incredible setting, like having your own private beach. Easy drives to nearby beaches and Abel Tasman. Great hosts provide in-room bfast and knowledge of area is excellent. They love where they live and so will you! Beautiful, well-appointed accommodations and grounds.
the location and suites were lovely, owner very friendly and obliging ... a perfect place for a romantic getaway... relaxing and welcoming ... could have happily stayed there longer ...
Signage for finding the place was poor, wish there had been an info booklet in our room (e.g. wifi availability, spa use, local restaurant lists for meals etc), being greeted by a barking dog coming at us was not so great,
Location beautiful, staff very helpful in giving us restaurant and tour options.
The units have adjoining doors and we could hear everything in the room next door.
Great place, great view!
Not easy to find the path to the house. Bigger label needed at the cross where the mailbox is.
A wonderful place to stay for those who want to get away from it all but also close to Abel Tasman, vineyards, craft shops and restaurants. The hosts, Claire and Phil, could not do more to make you feel welcome and at home. The views from the units are spectacular. Claire made sure we were looked after with a good breakfast each day. The only thing we felt could have been there was a docking unit for an ipod or something similar plus we did miss Sky TV (we were there for a week!) Other than that, everything was perfect - thanks so much Claire and Phil :)
