Good location to business district, harbour, shopping etc. A fairly new hotel so decor was good, modern, and comfortable. Breakfast not so good. Hotel access via car park or a street 6 floors lower via steps a little odd. |

It was a huge room and included a handy microwave. No tea or coffee provided although there were cups and a kettle. Also, the cooked breakfast was not worth the $23 charged. |

The location was the main reason we picked this hotel. On our first day, my husband and I walked around the block of the hotel and found out of a Catholic Church just nearby. The hotel gave us the chance to attend Mass everyday during our stay, which was fulfilling. We were so impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. One thing, we suggest to consider having an iPod player in the room. Our Auckland hotel was fittted with this and we had the chance to play our own music. |

friendly staff was told we could book in at 2pm but the room wasn't ready.... didn't like the lights in the room - you have to put the card in to turn the bathroom lights on, very disruptive at 2 or 3am! and the noise through the vent or in the ceiling anyway in the bathroom when other people are showering is terrible..... the food in the restaurant was awful, overpriced, small servings, and stale smelly fish, yuk .. |

That it was close to town and value for money. The $20 parking fee for paying customers who are staying at the hotel. I have never seen this before. |

The location was convenient. The room was clean. The room was very cramped, the bathroom small and had a very strange bad smell (drains?). The sheets were clean but did have few coloured fibres and broken hairs on like they needed a good rinse. There were coffee mugs but no glasses and no hand towel provided in the bathroom. The fire exit doors to the stairwells didn't have a warning that they lock behind you if you shut them...nothing to indicate they are strictly emergency only. |

The staff allowed us to switch from a double room for a twin room on our second night as no other rooms were available the first night. Also when we were locked out of our room, the staff promptly attended to us.. Although we had requested for adjoining rooms and our request had been approved, we were not given these rooms as no note had been made by the staff on our reservations card. |

Liked the centrality of the hotel. Reception staff very friendly and courteous. Excellent choice of breakfast food. rooms comfortable and pleasant. Dinner meal was good. Restaurant staff need more training - no polishing of tables while guests are eating. Warn guests that croissants will catch fire in machine. Ensure that the coffee maching is working or have an alternative arrangement. Rooms need to be made up prior to 7.00pm!!! We realise that the hotel has only been open 6 months and that management will improve. |
