friendly staff ,location scenery , room serviced excellent
warm welcome and the fantastic view
sofa bed very uncomfortable
We had a very good stay at this hotel. I left my photo when I leave ,they send me e-mail and will send them back to me. I really appriciate for their help.
Friendly staff, great views and a well fitted out self contained unit were all positives. We also obtained great advice about travel options for day tours.
The property is on a multi-layered block, meaning lots of steps up and down. Unfortunately one of the party had a bad hip, so wasn't able to fully enjoy what was on offer.
Facilities provided were excellent, the view was first class. We would come again.
Access and parking were not easy. We chose to walk into town rather than lose our parking place.
Nice location, nice view
Poor parking facilities, we had to negotiate numerous concrete steps (14+) to get to our quiet villa. the extra bed was made up in the lounge so we couldn`t use the lounge as it was intended.
The view was incredible, facilities had everything I could have needed. Could have stayed here for weeks, months.
Tiny bit far for a casual walk in/out of town.
Although a little out of town, this was quite simply the most outstanding place we have ever stayed in. The suite was large and beautifully decorated. The view over the lake and the 'Remarkables' was just stunning, and almost made us feel we did not want to go out. The bed was comfortable.
Location, layout of unit, comfort
The view from the room over the snow clad mountains and lake.
The three flights of steps on the external staircase to carry heavy cases to the apartment.
Very good facilities in the villa. I still cannot believe I used the fire place during my stay in summer... Hosts were very generous and I even got a chance to use the mountain bike for free.
The location by the lake was beautiful with the Remarkables in the background.
The fact that we had to carry our luggage - 2 very heavy suitcases plus hand luggage down approximately 150+ fairly steep steps in the pouring rain to get to our room. It would be great help if some assistance was offered with the carrying of suitcases etc. They had told us that we would have a "few" steps to go down but NOT 150!!!!!!!
The view,luxury and comfort
Steep access and steps were challenging
Staff went over and above...Mel was superb, her recommendations excellent. And what a view of the lake! Quiet and peaceful, away from the noise of Queenstown.
We loved everything but If you cannot handle stairs to get to the apartment and the mile and a half walk into town, this may not work for you.
High quality, excellent views over the lake, would definitely stay here again and will recommend them to others.
Nothing, couldn't fault them in any way
Air Milford flight to Milford Sound, also skydiving , white water rafting and Shotover jet boat ride, all fabulous !
Nothing, except the weather was poor on the last couple of days
Fantastic lake view from the room. Large living room and spacious. Pretty clean.
View and quality of apartment,
Steps down to apartment.
The apartment had everything you could need. The laundry facilities were wonderful after travelling. It was like home from home! Can't fault it, highly recommended.
Fantastic room. Staff were extremely helpful, booking activities, doing research. Really over and above what was needed. I cannot thank them enough for their help, and now I have fiance.
Loved the view! Accommodations were great. The kitchen was nicely furnished. Wifi worked very well.
There are a lot of stairs!! Inside and out. The condo is tri level, but that allowed for great views. The walk to town is 20 minutes along the lake, but there are plenty if taxis in town to get back faster.
The kitchen facilities were superb with a large fridge, freezer and dishwasher and also a washer and dryer - both free. Our 1 bed apartment (No 15) was very spacious and extremely quiet and private - even when sitting on the outside patio only yards from a cycling and walking track. The views over the Frankton Arm of Lake Wakatipu were to die for and rarely have we stayed in a place that is much better situated. Mel in the office could not have been more helpful and was like extremely helpful and friendly.
Our only slight criticism is that after being out all day from 9am the room was not serviced until after we returned home at 4.30pm. There is no doubt, though, that we would stay there again.
Great view, loved the rooms, would have been perfect if closer to the town.
It is not a 20 minute walk into the center of Queenstown, more like 35 and we are brisk walkers
Great location, stunning lake views, friendly staff, comfortable beds, liked being on the cycleway and the lake
