Built in the early 1900s, the beautifully restored Villa Heights features a lovely garden with a fish pond and views of Mt Taranaki. It offers free Wi-Fi, free breakfast and free airport transfers. All rooms offer stunning mountain views. The air-conditioned rooms have a flat-screen TV, a refrigerator and tea and coffee making facilities. Each room has fluffy bathrobes and a bathroom with a hairdryer and free toiletries. Villa Heights Bed and Breakfast is 15 minutes’ drive from New Plymouth Airport and Fitzroy Beach. Central New Plymouth is a 20-minute drive away. Breakfast options include cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurt, eggs, bacon, toast, tomatoes, mushrooms and hash browns. Everything, friendly people, luxury accommodation, lovely garden and dog. In our opinion should be 5 stars +. Having to leave.

Pleasant, friendly, helpful hosts, Rosemary and John. Very clean, warm and comfortable room and ensuite bathroom in a beautifully-restored Victorian house. Lovely garden in a special setting with views of Mount Taranaki. Tasty, plentiful breakfasts. Stronger coffee would be good.

Rosemary and John were lovely hosts and the room was well appointed and very comfortable. They even helped me by driving me into and out of town. The gardens are beautiful and would look great in wedding pictures.

My hosts were wonderful and did their best to make my short stay as comfortable as possible. The room and the location were charming and the breakfast was great. There was a really good atmosphere in this place. The night was very fresh and as the heating system was programmed to be shut down during the night I had to struggle a bit with the remote control in the middle of the night in order to start it again ;-))
