Guests can enjoy an onsite forest and large lawn. *Waiheke Island is a popular wine-tasting destination, and there are several wineries within 1.9 mi of the property, including Stonyridge, Obsidian and Cassita Miro. *Palm beach is our closest beach, a 20 minute walk from the guest house. *The guest house offers luxury van tours for guests, which take in island sights and vineyards. *All rooms feature a flat-screen TV that has access to Netflix which is provided free of charge. Pukeko Room has access to a private bathroom while Tui and Aroha rooms share a bathroom with one another. *There is a communal kitchen, lounge and deck area available to all guests *Maps and fliers are provided in the guest house asking Hosts Carlee or Nicky for advice on local activities and tourist sites. *Rooms Aroha and Tui share a bathroom Pukeko has its own bathroom all bathrooms are located next to the front door, Bathrooms are not in guests rooms *Please note: *Most Waiheke driveways have long steep driveways. The Guest house has one of these driveways. We advise guests bringing vehicles to reverse down the drive to unload luggage and then park up the top of the road on the left of the driveway. *The guest house entrance is then down a shingle pathway and set of steps downhill. Our showers are not on mains pressure meaning shower pressure is low. *The Guest House is a 20 minute walk from the local supermarket or 7 minute uphill walk from the bus stop If taking the bus from Matiatia please catch the 502 bus located outside the ferry terminal. Get off the bus at the stop 1176. To the Maitaitai ferry the bus stop is on the other side of the road stop 1197. Time tables are in the foyer.
