Waiwera Motel  

Clean rooms, very good value for the money, accessiblity to the thermal pools resort and the beach. My husband and I walked to the beach, restaurant and the thermal pools resort.

only stayed one night, so not much to tell. except we would stay again next visit

The manager was very nice and accommodating of our early check in request. He seemed to be making a real effort.

It was nice & quiet, no noisey people around an liked the bit of countryside next to motel. The thing that stuck out in my mind was there was a good supply of tea coffee & sugar, not so much avail at other motels. Friendly sevice. Will recommend and also will be coming back. Thank you.

What's there not to like?

Mattress very mediocre and with no mattress protector of any sort we felt the ring shape of the springs all night - not good. I did write this on the hard-copy sheets in office.

It was clean.

It was comfortable enough, but a lot of wear and tear on furniture such as drawers, dining chairs. Bathroom could have done with hooks to hang clothes when showering.

Manager was friendly and accommodating. Good location on our travels around the North Island. Hot springs with discount, was very enjoyable.

The unit we had was quite clean, even though the 1st one we had there had a problem with the ranch slider so we were moved upstairs.& Was relatively close to pools etc

Nothing It was cold, the bathroom had holes in the wall, the springs in the bed were broken. It was cold and there were no spare blankets availablke- had to strip other bed. The couch was uncomfortable. The cleanliness was only fair. $110 was ovwer the top for what was a poorly kept facility

Excellent Service!

Our stay would have been EVEN better with access to wireless internet during our 3 day stay. Perhaps, having someone do a quick room tidy up/clean for those staying for more than 2 days...

That it was close to what we wanted to do.

The poor state of the unit, e.g. The cobb webs on the ceilings and on the walls, the poor furniture disrepair, holes in the walls, cutlery numbers weren't enough for a family of four.

First impressions were disappointing as the motel looked very run down. However, it was clean and comfortable and in a peaceful area. It was in walking distance of a shop, waiwera hot pools and an eating place. I would rate it as budget accommodation.
