The hotel pretty much ticked all the boxes for us. We needed a relatively quiet, clean hotel, walking distance from the main area and not expensive. Just felt that the fittings and fixtures were getting a wee bit old and shabby, but that wasn't important. |

Nice and comfortable, quiet location within walking distance (just). spacious for a studio type room. The bathroom is old and a little shabby, could do with new fittings and toilet. While it was quiet, the location was out of the main city area and away from bus routes. We were exhausted from walking to and from the hotel 2-3 times a day. |

The staff at reception were great, especially Nick. When our room was serviced they did not leave bath bats or towels? When we called reception they were great and replaced them immediatly which was awesome. |

The position of the hotel and the fact that our room had 2 double beds. The staff were friendly and helpful. I feel our room was in need of a revamp. A bit old fashioned and tatty, leak in the bathroom ceiling and all a bit tired looking. |

Better than I expected of a cheaper business hotel. Reasonable location within the city centre and adequate facilities and services provided. No - all generally up to expectation |

Staff were helpful. Breakfast facility was good. Neat, tidy, value for money. Bathroom was dated. Position of 2nd bed was to close to wall. Lift out of service at times. Gym small. |

The hotel is close to down town. The bathrooms were moldy and dirty. We asked about parking and were told the only option wa covered, $15. per day. There was safe free parking available on site. |

I enjoyed the friendly and accommodating staff. They were very quick to cater for any request and went out of their way to ensure I had a good time in Wellington. The sauna/pool/gym area was also great, having a range of things and large enough. I found it interesting that there were so many signs around my room about water reduction, and yet none of the toilets I saw had a 'half flush' button. This is a small step but can save a lot of water. |

We were well looked after. It was beneficial having the two access points - one enabled quick and easy access to the centre of Wellington. |

The reception desk staff were quite efficient but could use more smile and be more friendlier (can struck conversation with guest easily and naturally). On the guest privacy aspect Mercure Wellington is perfect. It is a distant away from the city centre |

An extra elevator for hotel guests to avoid biggest part of climbing to the hill. Location at the hill required steep climb. Price was ok for a hotel room in Wellington, but I like that an apartment in the city centre would offer more for the same amount of money. |

Our stay was very enjoyable, all the staff were pleasant and professional our room was comfortable & we will certainly stay again. We chose this hotel for the location to be close to our friends apartment. Our trip was to celebrate our friends special birthday, we had a wonderful time. The bathroom is small but ok. My suggestion would be to remove the bath and only have a shower. |

Quick room service, nice swimming pool althought we didn't get to use it, The seating for our evening meal, all bunched up near the window, found it a little cool so had to move seats around. |

This was our first visit to wellington. We enjoyed the location of the hotel, as we could see where it was on the skyline.A good brisk walk into town, and good value for money. I liked to have a swim in the mornings. The small lift seemed a bit dodgy, and one time when we returned back, it wasnt working. we had to walk right around to the front entrance as the ph. wasnt working. It was raining. The small lift |
