Often choose this venue to stay at. Quiet. Staff are welcoming and attentive. Cleanliness very good. Always meets by needs as I usually only stay one night so every there tht I need.

Location -- away from the noise at night but that is also a negative for others as you have to drive to village for cafes & shopping I prefer a duvet rather than the heavy bedcovers and some spare pillows for sitting up in bed would have been appreciated.

Although only a one night stay, we found the Lodge ideal in every respect. It was very clean and very comfortable and very convenient. The location was ideal, being only a short distance from the Village shops. We certainly would stay there again, when we visit Havelock North. Only one minor comment. The water pressure in the shower was quite low, for a modern/new motor lodge.

Our room was disability and was perfect for that, but the reason I chose this facility was because it was new and I get asthma in old places. I can smell dust as soon as I go into an unclean unit, but this unit smelt clean and I didn't get asthma. I was very happy with facility. No view

Homey, clean and tidy. Only thing I struggled with was the $14 egg on toast, which was only one piece of toast. I paid the same for eggs and salmon on toast at the local cafe. Either change the price or do a better meal.
