“Very nice, well-appointed, spacious room. Particularly friendly and helpful staff. Very good value for money - hotels in Muscat are very expensive generally. Location good if you need quick access to the highways - also very handy to the Grand Mosque and not too far from the beach.”

Rooms at Al Maha International Hotel feature a work desk and flat-screen TVs with DVD player. Private bathrooms come with courtesy bathrobes, slippers and hairdryers. The rooms are neutrally decorated, yet still offer a sense of Omani-style. Guests can enjoy the in-house steakhouse and a hot buffet breakfast, served daily in the dining hall of the hotel. An on-site Starbucks provides coffee blends and a variety of pastries. Situated in the affluent Al Ghubra area of Muscat, Al Maha International is a 10-minute drive from both the central business district and Seeb International Airport. Very nice, well-appointed, spacious room. Particularly friendly and helpful staff. Very good value for money - hotels in Muscat are very expensive generally. Location good if you need quick access to the highways - also very handy to the Grand Mosque and not too far from the beach. I was heading to Ras al Jinz when I checked out - the General Manager Anupam heard me mention this and phoned ahead to the Turtle Research Centre (where I was staying and where he knew a lot of the staff) and asked them to look after me, which they did superbly. Very nice touch. Thankyou Anupam!

All round good quality value for money hotel Location is not as good as the hotel. You need transport to get about or taxis - don't get a taxi from the hotel as they charge a substantial premium

The staff are all very helpful and well trained in customer satisfaction matters. From check-in to check-out we could not fault them. Breakfast and Dinner menus are similar to other Middle East hotels and are quite adequate. Cedric the hotel manager offered us an upgrade to a vip suite which was kind. The beds were very comfortable and very clean. Our room was huge and well made up each day. The hotel is located in a residential area and has all sorts of local services and food stores and restaurants within walking distance, cheap laundries etc. Free cable internet, onsite parking and and a tea-making tray were in the room. Great! Some minor downsides: High noise from people in the tiled corridors as the room doors are too thin; no bath, en-suite not always cleaned fully. A bigger issue was the high noise level from the split A/C system which drowned out the TV and then the volume increase during the advertising breaks. I had to use ear plugs to get to sleep.

The hotel is pretty new so it gives you very clean look. Staff are friendly. Breakfast is too basic, basic is fine but low quality. Can't find by the gps have to stop and ask for the direction. Plus the area mentioned on booking was wrong it is located in Ghubrah not Qurm.

Spacious Rooms Good discount online (up to 50%) Sympatik and helpful hotel staff. The A/C is facing the bed and we can't avoid it. Most of employees don't speak english Room and restaurant aren't perfectly clean, only the minimum is done. There is a bar, gym club and pool but all are desert, nobody to manage them and it's not clean. The breackfast included is very bad. Product are not fresh and we suspect that some items are kept more than 2 days. Avoid the restaurant, it's also a desaster. There is not enough parking places. Wifi is pourely working, signal is low or absent in dedicated areas. The location is good (new to the highway) but the area is bad

clean spacious rooms, nice and friendly hotel staff. Good location ( only 8 minutes drive from the Muscat airport) . Hotel facilities, swimming pool on the roof top and the fitness centre. Hotel is 2 years old with spacious rooms which are very clean and the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is good ( Al Ghubra area ) and it is only 8 minutes drive from the Muscat airport . Breakfast of the hotel offers a selection of western and local items. For our taste more than enough. It is only 10 minutes walk to the beach and the Chedi Hotel. There are many shops and eateries in the surrounding. For those who want to do shopping, the mall " city centre Seeb" is only 10 minures drive away from the hotel. On the roof top there is a small swimming pool and a nice fitness centre is located on the 5 th floor. This hotel is absolutely recommendable for those who want to stay in Muscat for few days. Good value for money!!!

Spacious, comfortable rooms, a small but very pleasant roof-top swiming-pool, friendly and helpful staff, excellent value for money. Would definitely go back. A strange smell came from the airconditionning unit. Breakfast is adequate but a little more variety would have been welcome.

It was an ok hotel by Muscat standards. Don't expect an uae like experience but the staff were friendly, the room clean and I got an upgrade to make it even better. Nothing really but if you have been spoiled by an uae hotel before it needs some mental adjusting

Vermelding van ligging op website is wat misleidend. Ligging: "dicht bij de grote moskee" geeft voor de argeloze reiziger d einduk dat het wel ergens in het centrum van Muscat zal liggen . In feite is het 15 km van het toeristisch centrum van Muscat af. En door de aanwezigheid van een snelweg tussen het hotel en de zeer bezienswaardige moskee, is een taxi toch ook nodig voor die in vogelvlucht nog geen km. Pluspunt: ligging in een echte volkswijk heeft zijn voordelen voor wie ervan houdt. Zou dus beter wel zo vermeld worden ;
