Spa treatment and quiet serene surroundings. Rooms are comfortable and generous. Layout ensures privacy and quiet.
Unfriendly staff and policy declining access to the bar for the kids and ridiculous dress code policy for the bar access. Probably a nice resort in the 90's...
the place and the location are good away from city crowd
RESTAURANT WAS NOT THAT GOOD FOOD OPTIONS ARE OK AND EXPENSIVE
The foliage was amazing. Beautiful gardens.
Everything else. We booked this fairly pricey "resort" to take my mother to during her once-in-a-lifetime trip. Disappointment does not even begin to express how I felt about this place. I had glass in my mouth from a bite of the food. No one even offered an apology although they did remove that particular dish from the buffet. We were told the swimming pool was heated and it was not, plus the bottom felt slimy to walk on. Our villa had been closed down and they opened it due to high demand. It was old, and dirty. They advertise kitchenette but it was nothing more than an alcove with a few cabinets, a sink and coffee maker. No refrigerator, dishes, utensils, or even microwave. When I called the spa to book some services for myself and my mother, they tried to talk me out of everything I wanted done until I finally said forget it. We asked to speak with the manager upon checkout and he did apologize and explain they were in the process of remodeling and our villa had not been done yet which is why it was in that condition. He seemed genuinely surprised when told of the glass incident. However, all he did was promise "next time it wouldn't be like that". No attempt at doing anything to make amends for the absolutely horrid stay. Needless to say, there will never be a "next time"!
rooms, the ways, views, cycling open space.
Food price in restaurant high. No night life.
Landscaping & environment
Poor Maintenance all facilities are not functioning ( steam tunnel, children play area ,Jacuzzi etc. etc.)
Staff are friendly
No worth it since its soo expensive, and most facilities are dead... Not recommended at all
Very quiet and lovely garden stay with lots of green trees. Perfect for hideaway from load of works.
well the pool was not clean
Food was very good. Room was clean & bed very comfy.
Staff at reception not always sure what's happening next.
Swiming pool, khallab Resturant
Rooms are not clean, most of the facilities are not working and no internet connection in the rooms.
The resort is has renovated the rooms and bathrooms .Everything looks nice . the gardens and plants and the surrounding areas are kept neat. The food was excellent (buffet). We have been going there regularly and place is beautiful.
microwave and some basic cutlery should be provided in premium rooms.
The ambience of the resort says relaxation with peace and quiet
Some staff lacked the quality customer service you would expect from the lovely resort.
Location. Set up of the rooms. GM
The Food. House keeping.
The service, the communication, the location, the space, environment.
I am a little disappointed with their breakfast standard this time. Usually, the breakfast is amazing, but somehow things changed.
I had one night i really enjoy it
The price is a abit expenses i guess between 35 to 40 OMR is fair enough.
The wifi was not working. The facilities were very poor. We left the hotel before our checking out day, as we felt isolated from the civilization.
The resort was fabulous, the facilities were top notch!
The food wasn't not as good as I would have expected from a resort like this. The steak I had was chewy and had a lot of fat and so was my brother-in-laws :-(
There is no other choices of food.
Nice greenery views Spacious room Large bath tub
Very slow response from the staff. We had to wait for 45 minutes to get someone to carry the luggages for checkout. Lots of flies especially in the dinning areas.
Huge open spaces; Close to nature; Healthy breakfast spread; Staff was by and large courteous
Property reeking of cost-cutting and poor management attention. Steam tunnel and Jacuzzi have been shut down ostensibly for renovation. Room had bed bugs, satellite channel issues would only be addressed after the week-end, toiletries were deliberately under-provided and given on guest request, buggies were hardly available except for check-in and check-out. A polite request for a two hour late check-out was met by an impolite you must check-out now reply.Overall there was a staleness in the ambience. No vibrancy. Staff appears under-motivated. Nothing new happening in or near the property. Better to explore newer and more vibrant options.
Nice location, good spacious room, friendly staff, good food.
Mini bar was empty, the curtains had to be moved manually. Some facilities were closed for renovation.
There general things are pretty good and impressive as : - The idea of having every 4 apartment with 2 sides is pretty nice - so comfort and quiet place - Restaurant was great and have a night show outside at evening - The place it big enough where you can have a walk as couple - They got a nice place with a water fall - They got a nice and big swimming pool
but they forget about the basic which make your trip not as you expected as: - While in room an electric short happen and i raised the breaker my self - Broken shambo holder - Noisy fan in bathroom - Window net is broken - Reception dont answer always ( it could be cause of the 5th day of EID but that doesn't mean they don't answer it) - The location is soo big which make you need to call the reception to get a gulf car to drop you at location ! The problem sometimes u will have to wait up to 20 min before they come - Poor direction signals and at last, they got there Argela (Shisha) location completely outside the resort in there parking area which make it completely uncomfortable
