Clean, comfortable rooms Courteous staff Pleasant surroundings Clean beach
No bar No entertainment
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The noise from the AC in the bedroom was unbearable, even with ear plugs, as they use cheap and outdated wall-mounted split units. The staff said the noise was normal. I had to turn it off to sleep, but then the room became roasting. Very uncomfortable night. For the price, I would expect something much better.
Friendly and charismatic drive school
Extras outside "half board" were not outlined and no price lists were evident or offered. As extras we conscientiously pushed by hotel staff it amounts to a deliberate attempt to deviously add items to guests' bill.
Sea views, great location and very helpful staff.
Helping attitude of staff.
Non inclusion of drinking water with meals. High price of beverages. 1 cup tea /1 can of soft drink costing RO 1.500 each. No provision of tea/ coffee facility in the rooms. Delay in checking in
Food and staff are helpful
Sorry to say there is no satch things to say it good
All things was so bad The respetion was unhelpful , non respected , and non comfortable , The door was brocked , Air condition was so bad I was all the night never get sleep becouse the room was hot The cleaning was so bad , There is no satch good things to say good about them
Quiet rooms in the middle of the garden rooms are clean Laid back atmosphere Good location for sawadi islands and only 1 hour from Muscat
Food is average
The staff were friendly and tried to help, but had wildly varying competencies.
Very high price for an older slightly rundown hotel. Plus the plumbing smells a bit off. However since they have no competition they can get away with charging what they want. Also a friends car was damaged when thieves tried to break in, so that was a downer to. As it is a lot of hassle to get a police report.
Location and diving
Poor maintenance of the installations, staff with slow response to provide the rooms we had booked and paid... it seems they understand that the hotel is going to be closed soon and don't care much.
Great location and good price. Yummy camel burger.
Very hard mattress.
Contains a dive resort. Food is ok.
Room is very very basic. Clean though no kettle, no drinks in the Fridge, Bathroom/toilet discharge sewage releases a bad odour whenever You flush or have a shower. For the price paid per room per night this hotel is seriously overarted/overpriced.
VERY quiet! close to a wonderful beach enjoyable swimming-pool Excellent food! Excellent rooms!
Friendly staff Good food and cariety
Gardens not maintained poperly place looks deserted
very friendly and helpful staff from the reception/waiting staff right down to the gardeners well run dive centre - good equipment, knowledgeable staff
Rooms look a little old fashioned and tatty - a lot of the mosaic tiling around mirrors etc. was hanging off which doesn't give as good an impression as it could. Could perhaps do with having internet access in rooms and tea and coffee making facilities too
Didn't like anything about it the worse experience ever
Al Sawadi Resort is a good location for scuba-diving. The restaurant offers excellent food at a reasonable price. When we reported a problem with the air-con the staff fixed the problem very quickly.
Very Expensive basic rooms with a very old TV. It was dissappointing that the air-Con for the room had not been checked to be working before our arrival - but it was fixed promptly after we reported it the following day. We found the room Secure Safe to be very complicated to use.
the seaview with the island and good selection of food
1. mosquitos so I kept my room closed allways 2. facilities look old and worn out
I like the beach area friendly staff
This hotel is a joke when you check in you will get only one small room Old furniture smell like urine.. The bathroom is ok.. And you pay very high price thinking it must be a good hotel
Spa is good with professional therapists
Our room was at the far end of the resort close to a very noisy public beach
The room was not good at all as suite
Not a lot to like!
Very poor value for money. Food was poor, room infested with insects, bed was very uncomfortable, bathroom floor flooded when you took a shower. Chalets long way from reception and impossible to find the right one after dark. Will never go there again and will recommend everyone i know to steer clear of this "Hotel". Very sad waste of an excellent location
The location of the place is beautiful. The food was good and the service was fine.
The room had very limited amenities, the lighting in the room was very poor and there was no room service .so if you are having small children please be sure to carry all the necessary amenities and snacks.
- half board - restaurant and bar - sea view - diving facilities - beach / pool
- lack of directional signage (Hard to find the first time, especially at night)
