Al Shiraa Hotel Apartments

Complete kitchen with stove though limited items. Anything we needed they brought very quickly. Beds were great but we like them hard. Rooms were actually decorated a bit which is a nice change for this type of accommodation in the Gulf. Furniture was in good condition.

TV didn't have much in the way of English channels but that is really minor, if you ask me.

Room was quite nice with everything one needed. It is also very clean and close to local services.

No breakfast there. There is a cafe adjacent to the hotel, however. If you overlook the street, there is some traffic noise during the day.

Room, although basic, everything was very neat, clean and tidy; all facilities at hand - tea,coffee, toiletries, bar fridge, good shower. Asked for good internet in advance and it was provided. Hotel arranged taxi pick-up from airport 7 Ors. Staff were all very keen to please. I enjoyed my stay there and would recommend it as budget accomodation.

The hotel is somewhat isolated and a little remote from the centre of town, no shops nearby, certainly no supermarket that was open late. Be aware of this and it will be fine.

Location was ideal for food and easy access to the a1 main highway. People speak english and are friendly. Oman is fairly modern.

Muscat is not cheap, infact the stirling is weak compared to the Omani Rial. Only the petrol is a treat to buy. For shopping other countries are a lot better.

Al shira hotel apartment rooms are very specious and clean. Hotel staff is very polite and sincere.specially Mr. Abdulkadder is highly cooperative and helping nature.

Tv network having all most Arabic channels,it would better to add few Hindi channel specially for Indian visitors . Anvar Shaikh

Hotel bien situé en centre ville, personnel à la réception très serviable et gentil. Je recommande cet hôtel. Good location in the city, great hotel, nice people in the reception. Room are clean. We liked our staying in this hotel.

The Al Shiraa Apartments provide excellent value for money and provide spacious, if a little basic accommodation. Whilst there is no resturant at the hotel you get a full sized kitchen and the Muscat Grand Mall with its restaurants, food court and supermarket are 5 minutes drive away.

The shower arrangements were not very good as you ended up covering the bathroom floor in water every time you showered.

Staff nice and approachable, good price and location.

Bathroom was not as clean as I would like.

Great value for money

It is not an appartment, it is a hotel. Don't expect kitchen or anything else.

Really friendly staff who were making up for the lacks like no city map for guests or no breakfast with their own map or pointing us to places to eat. Also let us check out later and gave us discount for wi-fi. Room was very nice as for the price. Spacious, clean. Nice coffee and dates in the reception chill-out area. The city of Muscat.

Description says it's in the heart of Muscat - wouldn't say so. Wi-fi could be free (not that it costs a lot, but just for the sake of it). Not that we don't like to try some local places for breakfast, but simple breakfast included would be expected at this price.

First of all the staff and management are very friendly and efficient. The last day of my stay they kindly arrange late check-out until 17:00. The room is spaciuous and clean. You can find good, budget and mid-range restaurants near the hotel.

Good location, not far from airport Hotel reception is polite and very helpful Very easy to get taxi, in front of hotel Room clean timely in the morning everyday Very easy to Indian breakfast at less than RO 3 for 3 adults Car rental services near hotel at RO12 perday for Toyota Yaris lmtd to 200km. Omanis are nice people and polite. Very scintillating Qurm beach during dusk.

The toilet is reasonably clean but some maintenance like drain caps need to be replaced The shower basin is very small and water would splashed to the toilet foor when taking shower. Taxi is very easy to get but quite costly.

Good deal with an appartment for 4 persons where it is posisble to cook and share dinner. Very goog location close to Sultan Quabos grand mosque, lulu hypermarket and airport.

There is nothing I like about the hotel.

Sorry but the truth is I didnt liike anything as the room was dirty,furniture was poor ,tv signal was poor.The noise from the door way was disturbing and not letting us rest.Overall it was a very bad experience.

The staff were not really helpful. The bed wasnot comfortable and i found bed bugs. The hotel staff only helped by changing my room.

Sincèrement, la chambre est très propre et confortable, quartier calme et agréable. La grande mosquée est une merveille donc à visiter, pas loin de l'hôtel justement, un centre commercial se trouve à 5 mètres de l'établissement. Meilleur qualité/prix. Par contre le quartier n'est pas touristique du tout. Mais pour dormir nous y retournerons inchaalah.Excéllent comportement de la population Omanaise; serviable,d'une gentillesse exemplaire, toujours le sourire aux lèvres, un peuple qui aime son pays et qui aime son sultan. Nous avons vu de nos propres yeux des enfants du quartier qui jouent au football dans les jardins du palais, nous avons visité le palais et ses splendides jardins comme si c'était un bien populaire.Ce qui explique la symbiose entre le peuple et son sultan.Nous avons constaté une sécurité totale dans tout le pays.Oui nous avons aimé, oh! Combien aimé ce pays et son peuple. Nous y retournerons inchaalah, oui nous y retournerons très souvent.

Le positionnement de l'hôtel n'est pas touristique car il faut se déplacer à matrah pour vraiment connaitre le peuple omanais et sa merveilleuse corniche.
