i have stayed many times, and as a business traveller it ticks the boxes

Good selection for breakfast, but the hot items always seem to be cold, the staff dont seem to pay much attention, to busy talking to each other rather then looking after the customers

This place is a real value for money..

i enjoyed my stay in the hotel, the hoyel should be upgraded to 4 star and should be expanded to accomodate more guests. location is excellent.

it should be 4 and 5 floors and the swimming pool should be bigger.

Nice location, nice rooms with all renovated and new furniture. Hotel is of circular shape with a small round pool in between, all rooms are in ground floor and pool is front of the rooms. Staffs are cordial. Restaurant food was good. Overall relaxing stay.

The room was clean but too dark ,it was nice to sit near the swimming pool

Little bit far away from beach and historic center, poor breakfast, the price to high to the standart as all hotels in Oman

I think that hotel is not good at?, Where I stayed in the Arab disco and disagree with one of the brothers there? Stood Powered Security at the hotel so he beat me severely and threw me out of the disco?So, twenty people beat me outside the disco, security and standing laughing.

The rooms are very spacious, service and location of the hotel.

We did not like the 31st of December Dinner, not expensive but far too quick and not good food.

The hotel is nice. The rooms are pretty, comfortable and clean. It was a nice place to stay with a small child because there is enough outdoor space for kids to play.

Although the hotel is great, there is not much to do in the immediate area. The crafts souk was not open and neither was the fort in town.

The hotel is a bit tired, it's seen more glamorous days. We stayed in one of the recently redecorated rooms and it was clean and comfortable, although the shower consistently ran out of hot water. The pool area leaves much to be desired, it is small and the lounge chairs seem to date back to the early 80's- cushions and all! The price was reasonable, although I would never pay another 20 OMR for the breakfast, it was a basic continental breakfast and in my opinion, for the 90$ price tag on the room should have been included for free.

No other different and better options in Sohar

Management and the staff of Al wadi hotel so friendly and this hotel should be rated as 4 stars. And i enjoyed Birdwatching by the poolside and best philipino club in town

After being at the Middle Easts equivalent of Fawlty Towers at its worse, York International, Dubai, it was a joy to visit an efficient. friendly, functional hotel Food was very good.

Directions are poor. I drove 10kms past it before I could turn round, then sign on way back is too close to turning. Room could hardly be described as brightly litas in description.

The room was basic but spotlessly clean and a comfortable bed with new linen and pillows. Small, pleasant circular pool - you could go round and round rather than do lengths - with loungers but no pool towels. Maybe you had to ask specially for them. Extensive rather wild gardens so lots of birds. Good cheap restaurant though service was slow.

The pool shelved dramatically to 2 metres so dangerous for children unless closely supervised by an adult in the pool.

Refurbished rooms were fine, but we ended up in the old one (no possibility for extra beds in new rooms). Iron and board.

Strange smell, leakings all over the bathroom, only one glass in the triple bedroom, kettle without any tea or coffee, towels collected in the morning were not replaced.

Very good to keep u busy and there is 2 malls near it

Stay was good. It was dry day coz of EID holidays. Night club and bar was not working during our two days stay. Other wise all went good.

Reception staff should improve their presentation qualities..

My Bill was paid two time due to problem in your machine. Mr. Stephen has given in writting to refund the excess payment received by the hotel. Plesae check and arrange to give credit of omr 232.490 asap

Rooms are recently renovated, comfortable and clean.

Out side of the guestroom, the rest of the hotel is a bit run down. The staff are a bit unattentive and seemed a bit disorganised.

The location to the Corniche was good. Good bed. Bedrooms and hotel interior were relatively clean.

Whilst there are some signs of renovation the room was nothing like the pictures on Booking.com and it drab and ageing. I love Oman and I understand that the tourist trade is evolving and accordingly the standards however basics such as clean napkins in the breakfast room and sheets are a must. Breakfast was adequate however the service was un-attentive in comparison to standards set by the chains and to look up and see the Chef sheepishly fishing something out of my omlette (I assume he shelled it) was disconcerting. There were rooms bizarrely left open - we were not certain if there were people crashed out in there or not and room service plates were left overnight creating an unpleasant smell in the hospital like corridors. With some investment this could be a nice hotel but still work to do - if you value quality over price I would stick with the chains in Oman for now. The GM who was friendly kindly offered us room service beyond normal hours but then it didn't materialise. We decided to have an early night.

I had stayed in this hotel before. The price is good, OR30 ++. Staff were friendly and helpful. Service was good. The room was clean and comfortable. Parking was not a problem.

For my time in the hotel I have nothing bad to report.
