Coral Hotel Muscat  

Hotel staff is really warm and welcoming (I'd certainly thank in particular Mudathir there). Location is great, no pool but a good tip is to use Grand Hyatt's facilities for only 10 OR/p.p for a whole day (much less than the price difference between the two hotels). Easy to go for a walk at the beach and a short taxi drive to main sites or airport. Really a good choice that i'd recommend.

Decoration a bit tacky and some rooms may not have a superb view (ask for 3rd floor in front of Hyatt, then you may have a glimpse of the Sea)

The hotel is definately not a 4* hotel rating., It's more likely a 2-3* hotel rating.. Breakfast was poor, quality of building is quiet run down !! Needs total refurbishment , quite outdated !

The location & Free Wi-Fi

The place had a weird stink. Starting from t he elevator to the corridors and even the rooms. We stayed in Rooms 310 & 311. No views or balconies there, The toilet seat was very old. The flush system was bad and even the carpet looked very old. The breakfast was quite basic

Well the room was neat and bed is comfortable. I liked the idea of sheesha service next to the hotel in a tent.

Too many charges on every service included. The most important terrible incident occurred of having dinner served to my room with no cover on the plate. as a hygeine purpose, no one knows what might the food had caught on the way to my room.

Nothing very old and not worth thye money spent. You should take it out of your selection list,

Convenient location, clean and friendly staff

We traveled with 4 kids ages from 15 yr to 18 months and stayed in the 2 bedroom executive suite. Was very spacious with two bathrooms, a small kitchenette. WiFi was free and adequate speed. The location of the holtel is in the upscale embassies section of town. Food selection was very limited but the only staff that was alwyas there was attentive. Definelty great value for the money in a clean and spacious suite.

The only restaurant on site was too small, limited selection, and can use some more lights and a fresh look.

The proximity to the beach. The experience of swimming was a bit spoilt when it was pointed out that some sewerage actually goes into the sea. The staff was very friendly and helpful, really went out of their way to help. The room was spacious and clean. From my room on the third floor I had a glimpse of the sea

Some air conditioning noise, could have been coming from Hyatt across the road. Not bad enough to be disturbing. My safe did not work, I mentioned it but it was not fixed. The system to empty bath tub did not work, once full it had to stay that way. Only details really

2 years ago was nice but now poor

Very nice and helpful staff, druing our stay, they help us to find the rent cars and arrange the tour to the sea watch the dolphin. Also the hotel in the good location, only three mins walking to the beach,and the room was clean.

There are not too much choice for food maybe because of ramadan, and the restaurant inside hotel was little small.

Simple, but good. Excellently situated close to the beach.

Noise coming from aircondionter pack accross the street if you're unlucky
