The Beach is located on a quiet, palm-lined street, 1000 ft from the Indian Ocean. Its tranquil courtyard with traditional Omani façade and Bedouin tent features an outdoor swimming pool.

nothing only location is fine.
Some times people are parking in front of the hotel very close to the entrance and talk loudly which cause some noise preventing people from sleeping quietly specially at night.
Location Close to the beach and opera house Easy parking Wifi

The food was great and so was the efficient service.
However, my food arrived from downstairs on an uncovered plate. Not the best way to serve food.
wi - fi
the prices of the hotel is quite expensive. compared to the facilities in the hotel, the prices are high.
Low standard but very costly
Location to another hotel bars
Run down, needs to be renovated. Breakfast was also very basic for cost of accomodation.
Nothing special just the manager who's a Omani guy he's a very nice and very helpful for locations etc
A very smelly room ! Smells like a very old room I don't know how to explain also the elevator smells a a lot !
The cleanliness and professionalism of the staff. Decor was beautiful in the front entrance.

The hotel is very close to the beach, and to the Hyatt if you want to use a swimming pool (OMR 10 per day to use the facilities). The room was very big and air conditioned. At first, the staff were absolutely lovely and arranged everything we asked them to. Then, it went a bit funny.....
We asked to pay the taxes (to pay at the hotel, not part of the reservation) when we arrived, but they said everything was paid, and we wouldn't have to pay anything else. But when we went to check out, their smiles disappeared and it all went really awkward.... we had to argue hard the fact that the hotel manager told us there was nothing else to pay.... if he had owned up to his mistake and said "really sorry, my mistake, can you please pay", it would have been fine, but basically they did as if we never had the conversation and were really abrupt about it. The rooms weren't cleaned every day thoroughly, so sand would still be on the floor, and the bathroom wood door frame was damaged due to water, so there was a persistent smell of damp.
location , staff
TV channels , poor breakfast
The reception guy who did the check in was so bad doesn't know how to talk and treating us by very bad way.
Very short walk to the beach. Decent breakfast.
Not a lot of western expats at the beach. It was packed with men, especially in the evening playing soccer.
-the taxi driver was always available and was very pleasant and helpful - Muscat was great and we had a fantastic time, despite our hotel
-no terrace, no cafe nor restaurant as advertised - we tried ordering food when we arrived at 11pm, but no one was picking up the phone for our order, also different menus in our rooms - breakfast poor and very limited choice, not enough fresh fruit every day. the fruits which were displayed were old and dry.Coffee tasted bitter - we were followed into the hotel by a stranger and when we reported it ( as we were worried for our safety ) the person at the reception only responded- "ok", and the man remained in the lobby watching which room we were going into - my friend was charged more despite she had email confirmation from Booking.com with a fixed price - I was told my bill was already paid in full and complete and I do not owe anything as i paid it all upfront, but upon check out was presented with a bill of 50 OMR! when disputed I was treated with a terrible attitude from the manager who just walked off. This is very unprofessional especially as he was assuring me I do not owe anything and flirting with us the whole stay - we asked for our suitcases to be kept safe during the day ( as our flight was at 11pm), when we returned to the hotel, we found them standing in the lobby where anyone could just take them - next door is a building site and during the night they laid tiles, so no sleep - Friday night was very noisy from the opposite Hyatt as there is a club - pigeons on windows, noisy - bath tub had no plug so not possible having a bath, plus the tub was heavily chipped and dented - my shower screen and sink leaked so my bathroom floor was flooded every time - towels were stained - sheets not changed - not a great advise on trips or activities - when asked about the grand mosque, we were told we can't go there and that we are not allowed to take pictures
Large, clean rooms with comfortable beds.
Room clean staff from the hotel very good
Nothing to do in the hotel nothing
Easy booking - nice staff!
Location and friendly staff.
Pre-authorisation / blocking of full room rate in advance on check-in for the full stay.
Was charged twice and still awaiting refund. Paid cash upon check-out and realized a few hours later that my credit card had been debited the full amount through booking.com. Right away contacted the hotel and told that it's normal process and will be refunded.
I could walk across the street to the Grand Hyatt. I could walk to the beach. I could pay 10OMR to go to the Hyatt pool
Bugs at breakfast table, very old, weirdly cobbled facilities, bed hard as stone, the smell was not good, the noise from the alley outside my window, the piles of garbage outside my room, the pigeons living outside my window.
