The food was good, the rooms were fine. There was nowhere to sit outside and enjoy the view & enjoy being outside. There was a patio area but it was reserved for Shisha although we never saw it used for that. A real waste.

Very warm welcome at reception, decent breakfast The confirmation of bookings.com did not mention that the pool is closed. Only the print version which I printed out just a few days before the stay showed this as a sidenote, no special highlighting of this important fact. Of course I did not compare the E-Mail Text with the print and therefore had no chance to be aware of this fact. The pool closure was very disturbing as we booked the hotel because it has a pool. in addition, the pool area was a big construction area with lots of noise.

The location is in the middle of nowhere. Anyway it could be a good starting point for visiting the surroundings. The food at the restaurant is really terrible. If you can, please avoid it. It is just for surviving. We had dinner once: The fish was awful. Breakfast is very poor for a 4 star hotel. Unfortunately there are not so many hotels in Nizwa and you have to take what you get.

The whole place is huge and when I stayed there there was little going on. It felt a bit like the Overlook Hotel from the Shining. beautiful decor and very good restaurant, especially the buffet. I lived the bar and the live entertainment :) As all hotels in thus country, this Hotel was overpriced as well.

Restaurant was fine- but only buffet available. Standard of food good. An egg cooking station would have been nice for breakfast. General public areas in front and centre of hotel are clean and well decorated. Housekeeping gets good marks, room was clean and comfortable. Swimming pool was under a rebuild. General scruffy appearance of rooms next to lift. Broken door at exit to swim area. No ac on in corridors at block 3. Sports bar and pool bars were closed. Price of wine on menu was very silly. Dh250 plus taxes for a bottle that retails at Dh35 in Dubai. And this is not a good quality wine either - so we did not buy any. Beer was priced ok but tasted strangely flat. It was not cheap.

The views, pool, poolside restaurant situation, staff, rooms were all wonderful. Thank you The actual food was not quite up to standard, meat was chewy, choices for breakfast a little sub standard for the hotel standard. Coffee was awful, a French press choice would be nice

We enjoyed the room with an own terrace on the pool side, comfortable bed. Nice architecture of the hotel and a great pool. The breakfast was good, but nothing extraordinary. The barbecue served in the evening was nice with much variation. The room could need some refurbishment, but nothing urgent. The hotel is pretty far outside of Nizwa, no problem for us who had a rental car. But if you don't, you need a taxi or guide to get somewhere.

The hotel is not new but rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable. All rooms around the back courtyard are also quiet. Á la carte dinner (mixgrill) was very good and not expensive (about 20 euro). Breakfast has good, wide assortment but can be chaotic when you arrive at the same time like tourist groups. Barbecue buffet dinner is overcharged - very small choice and low quality. There was no daily bar opened, so it was not posiible to get a cup of espresso in the afternoon.

A very comfortable hotel near Nizwa, that had a licence to serve alcohol. The Booking.com map of the position of the hotel is wrong. The position is for a sign which says that the hotel is 27 km away. In the dark we could not find the hotel and eventually a man kindly asked us to follow him in his car for 27 km!!

The hotel is the best in the area, has a pool . Friendly Staff , in particular breakfast service. 1.location is not Niswa but 30 min drive from town , 2. Mainly groups with their typical loud behavior 3. bit Expensiv 4. No outdoor breakfast or lunch or dinner .

The staff were very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Nice pool and relaxation sauna. The food was variable. Some meals at the buffet were excellent and other times it wasn't as nice. Hard to please all the time. The staff made the stay great!

Nice spacious hotel, comfortable and well located close to Nizwa A little excessive on the 'customer survey' requests - both at the restaurant and by housekeeping, we were asked to complete a satisfaction survey on the spot. One survey per stay is acceptable but being asked by multiple people is a bt excessive.

Good looking hotel offering lots of value for money. Extremely good positioned for visiting or traveling to Wahiba Sands, Nizwa, Muscat, the Jebel Akhdar Plateau. Helpful staff. Not possible to have breakfast or dinner outside.

We could relax very well due to the spacious room and quiet environment. The location map which is indicated on the web site is wrong. It must be change! We were so hard to reach the Hotel.

The pool is the best thing about the hotel. The staff are helpful and they do a fantastic curry from the room service/pool side menu. The rooms could do with an update. There is not really a choice when staying at Nizwa but they could do with a bit of an upgrade. B'fast the 1st morning was average but better on the 2nd morning.

Very poor service and staff. I was calling for room service it took around 40 minute to have somong answer my call. Also, it took me around 15 minute to explain to the expartite staff my order and i hae rebeated it more than 5 times andi have asked her to rebeat my order to make sure no mistakes. After 45 minutes my order arived with ronge food. 3 oit of 4 is not the same what i have ordered. Also, they cound not solve the issue. I did accept what they have delevred. Also, in the room they are no notes of telephone services such as international call, bill boy, counter, resturant or room service. Personaly, i do mot recomend this hotel until they fix all these issues.

Die Lage vor Nizwa und die Lobby im Hotel. Die gesamte Anlage war recht schoen. Der Swimming Pool war gerade unter komplettem Umbau und damit nicht zu benutzen. Bei Temperaturen ueber40°C war das ein entscheidender Nachteil.
