Jasmine Hotel Apartments

The toilet cistern was not working. The toilet seat was broken. The apartment had a foul smell we had use our own air freshner to make it liveable. The breakfast was served in the room which just included omelette bread n jam.

Large and clean apartments in Ruwi area. 25 minute walk to clock tower in Ruwi, but there is also a frequent bus to Ruwi's bus station for 100 Biasa. Supermarket and several restaurants on the opposite side of the street.

No room cleaning, unless you ask. So, you have to ask yourself for new supplies like new towels and toilet paper.

Hotel was easy to get to

Bad swage smell in building cetain staff were not helpful wish to complain about hotel was not allowed see manager, manager was still in office but we were told was not in.we manage get hold of the manager as he was leaving his office.We informed the manager as promise we didnot get r breakfast. Had to go out to get breakfast each morning bedsheet and towels never got changed. The rooms and bathroom never got cleaned had croaches running round.1st room given was gloom no natrual light coming from window view from window was all we could see bloak of wall and pigeons sitting making noise and their dropping scatter on the wall. 1St day got a cold shower no hot water supplied, hair dryer was not working.put in other rooms worse wiring hanging out no seat to toilet, water dripping on to kitchen floor.flakes of artex coming of ceiling dangerous to eyes whilst sleeping. We were not given any discount of any sort due to the problem we face during r stay in jasmine hotel. Jasmine hotel need to be clean and airy with freah lick of paint and deco.

Close by the Oman Dive Center and Oman Heritage Village which are so beautiful. The 2 bedroom apartment we took was so spacious and with 3 bathrooms.

No wifi!

Although the hotel was in renovation, it had no impact on our stay. Our floor was nice decorated, so was the room. Ensuite kitchen in the room. We even got a bigger room for the same price. It depends which receptionist is on duty, I think. If you take breakfast, they bring it to your room (a lot of toast, marmelade, fruit juice, and an omelet). Located on only 4 minutes with taxi to the Ruwi busstation. Restaurants and supermarket nearby.

Not clear when the kitchen opened. We received conflicting information. We stayed 2 times in the same room. The first time some small beetles where running in the bathroom. The second time we didn't saw any of them.

the hotel staff was very friendly. the location was near to all tourist places and in good location.

The staff were so helpful and friendly and helped us out with making phone calls. Having a whole apartment was good and very cheap. For those on a budget, I would recommend it but you will need a car.

There were cockroaches in the rooms and the accommodation was quite basic, with taps and wiring not properly finished off. Despite having a kitchenette, there was no equipment. However, as we were planning to camp later, we had our own stuff with us. It was rather out of the way for the city sights and no one, not even the taxi drivers, had heard of it. There were noisy roadworks all night which we hadn't been warned about.

we had booking of 2 nos. of one bedroom apartment and 1 nos. of two bedroom apartment, But when visited at hotel ,,they said one bedroom apartment is not available , which we have booked via booking.com.

Insects inside the room and bad breakfast. Far from the airport and far from shopping areas .. and I would recommend to live in the center of the city to provide the value of the taxi.

I would very much recommend Jasmine Hotel to any budget-conscious travellers / families seeking to vacation at Muscat, Oman. It is about 10 min away from the city-centre, at Ruwi (Wadi Kabeer) I was taking a big risk when I booked this hotel in May 2012 as there were no reviews at all for this hotel. The only reason I chose this Jasmine Hotel was because I did not possess a credit card and this was one of the few hotels that gave customers the option of booking WITHOUT a credit card. Also because it was family friendly - no bars or noisy entertainment - very family appropriate. I am glad that I chose this hotel as it was worth every penny or riyal spent! The staff were very helpful even before we travelled over. I'd emailed them at the address provided to confirm my booking, clear queries, receive location directions and for other arrangements and I received prompt replies every time. Our room was on the 3rd floor, in the non-smoking wing. It was very clean and aired, with 2 large windows over-looking the mountains beyond. The room had it's own A/cThe beds were well-made on which 2pairs of clean white towels and toileteries (soap, shower gel, shampoo, body lotion) were laid out. There was a large LED TV (which had very few channels) on the wall right across the bed, next to a dressing table with mirror and drawers. There room also had a cupboard as well as bed-side tables with locker and keys.There was a mini-refrigerator and the best part which I loved was the kitchenette available with electric cooker, microwave, an electric kettle and a sink. There was also a tray ladi out with cups, saucers, sugar and coffee sachets. I knew before-hand that we there would be no cooking-ware and so I'd come prepared with some bare essentials for some light cooking and made good use of all the equipments provided. There's also a grocery right across the hotel.

The shower curtains had mildew, they need to be changed. One 3 pin plug could be provided for mobile chargers. It would help if a scrub and a tube of dish-washing liquid was provided at the kitchen sink, washing dishes was quite tough without it, managed with shower gel :)

Break fast provided is very poor. As there is no good hotel in that location break fast shoule be well & good. Kettle cable was broken & Shawer was broken. Complainted to reception, but No action taken. There is no asian TV channels for news. These are very small complaints, but hotel very comfortable.

Very low rate. Wide hotel bedroom apartments, convenient location, next to commercial area.

Bathroom has no towels ready, we asked upon our arrival. Kitchen has no utensils.Breakfast is free but not buffet, only egg, jam and dark- toasted bread. I asked for light toast bread, but served the same as burned bread. Coffee and sugar but no coffeemate or milk provided, which I used to have coffee with milk. In-room Telephone unit is not working to contact for room service.

The bathroom was dirty and informed reception.The room is not worth for RO.25/pd rent.

العيش فيه كشقة بغرفتين وصالة تجمع الاسرة مع بعضها على عكس الفنادق الاخرى التي لاتوجد فيها صالة وسعرها جيد

الفرش الردئ وكثرة البعوض من أكثر سلبيات الشقة وتحتاج الى تحسين الديكور ووضع سجاد في الصالة والغرف

Les chambres, la cuisine et le salon étaient vastes. Bien situé entre centre-ville et mer à proximité. Bon accueil. Prix intéressant pour une famille de deux couples et deux enfants.

La propreté laisse à désirer. Le petit déjeuner est un peu juste et surtout sans boissons chaudes. Aucune vaisselle ni casseroles pour faire son repas. Très gros manque pour une famille !

De locatie. Wij beschikten over een auto en konden ons prima verplaatsen. Het was ook erg prijsvriendelijk.

Ja, het personeel sprak helemaal geen Engels en dat kan natuurlijk niet. In dit hotel zaten voornamelijk Arabieren. Wij hebben slechts 1 westerling gezien. Verder was afgesproken dat het ontbijt om 8 uur afgeleverd zou worden (gebruikelijk in dit hotel) maar om 9 uur was het er nog niet. Laat maar zitten dan.

Не понимаю откуда у этого отеля такой высокий рейтинг, приехали туда в 3 ночи, этот день был оплачен, сначала поселили нас в номер спальня плюс кухня, оказалось кишит тараканами, попросили другой предоставили студию метров 10,тоже с тараканами, после того как сказали верните деньги завтра уезжаем, наконец предоставили нам наш забранированный и оплаченный (деньги при регистрации взяли)1-комн номер 75 м. без тараканов,но достаточно обшарпанный и грязноватый.Мы 3 раза переносили вещи и спящего ребенка прежде чем нам дали то что мы оплатили) Никому его не рекомендуем
