Staff was very helpful and friendly except some Asian girl at the reception was with a grumpy face, beach is beautiful, a peaceful and quiet location, nice spacious rooms
Wifi was bad, there was a construction site close to the hotel which interrupts the nice quietness of the place, far from the city
Extremely calm and comfort place, Very welcoming and smiling staff. Imelda, the lady at the reception, was very cooperative and caring for the single detail of your stay. Breakfast is to a very high standard.
Nothing worth mentioning.
Great location. Good facilities. Value for money. Friendly and helpful front office staff.
Service at breakfast. Way too few staff on duty during breakfast service.
If you are after peace and beauty, Thai is the place to go to. The location is great with one of the best beaches I've been to.
Most of the staff don't look like they are enjoying their work. Also the internet is extremely slow.
The property is wonderful. The staff went out of their way to accommodate my needs. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and coworkers.
internet bogs down at night.
Excellent very long beach within short walk and good pools.Resort generally quite.Clean comfortable modern accommodation.Good base to explore surrounding area with hired car at reasonable rates.
Meals in hotel can be a little expensive
Hotel was beautiful, rooms were nice and comfortable.
Twice, we were out by the pool with our kids and someone at the hotel came out to spray pesticides. It was not a minor spray, it was a huge blast that sent a lot of people running inside. I am not sure why they did this during prime afternoon swimming hours.
The overall development area.
The port too close to the hotel facilities.
great location room was comfortable and spacious
staff friendliness especially front desk was very poor food options very limited
overall is good
having dinner in the hotel was very expensive , although food is great
Approach and hotel entrance
Enjoyed our time
Needs a nice cafe
We really liked the food at al samak and al fanar.
No entertainment at night. Didn't like the cafe and the mini mart.
- Best breakfast out of 3 comparable Hotels in Salalah - Small private Beach - Pink Towels - White Sand walk to Salalah (12.5kms uninterrupted)
- Quite windy - Feels like a resort that is work in progress, around the Marina
All are excellent ,,,
no thing to declare
Environment was very good.the apartment looks amazing from inside.the view was good.location is nice.little bit away from city.but its near to wadi darbar area.
There was some problems with room lighting.one room power was gone.
Staff were great, welcoming and doing their best to satisfy customers' needs. Beach area is fantastic! Pool is ok. Kids clud has lot of toys. Room is big. Bathroom is super big! As a 4 star hotel, I give them 10!
The Juweira sits in a purpose built resort complete with marina (didn't see many boat), apartments, villas and is ‘twinned’ with the Salalah Rotana which is effectively next door. The resort is still in the process of being developed so building work is ongoing, we didn't suffer any disturbance other than travelling in and out of the resort. The resort seems to be focussed on selling holiday/retirement/investment properties which from what I could see seems to be the way Salalah wants to go in terms of tourism. In years to come large sections of the coastline from Salalah to Mirbat seem destined for this type of development, I just hope it doesn't go the way of Dubai. On arrival at the hotel you may find it difficult to get parked as the number of spaces don’t reflect the size of the hotel. When you enter the hotel the light and airy reception/lobby areas are imposing and impeccably clean. Check in was quick and efficient but I did feel that the person concerned was going through the motions rather than personalising the experience. We were shown to our room in a timely manner and given a quick familiarisation tour of it. The room was larger than expected and had a view of the marina. The room was laid out and had all the usual 5* essentials one would expect. The furniture was modern, well made and still looked new. The bathroom came complete with a walk in shower room and was well supplied with good quality toiletries and lots of fluffy towels. The only niggle was that the shower drain seemed to be slow at taking away the water which meant that if one stays in the shower for any length of time the water tends to over flow into the main bathroom area which in turn causes a slip hazard. I suspect the problem is more to do with the angle of the ‘run-off’ than the drain hole. The Wifi worked well and there was a good selection of TV channels.
Location, limited dining options.
Horse back riding on the beach, dolphin watching, and fishing charters are available and all are worth the time and cost. The resort has its own marina too, so boat tours are a few steps away from the rooms. The staff were wonderful. They made a special birthday cake for our one year old, and even cooked up a tuna from the fishing trip for us to enjoy for dinner that night. They treated us near to royalty. It was a once in a lifetime experience that we will never forget and always remember fondly.
The beverage menu was not complete, and the alcohol serving times were sporadic and not printed on any of the menus or signs around the resort. It was only a minor issue, but I found it mildly perturbing to ask for a Mai Thai at 1505 only to be told that they didn't serve between 1500 and 1800 daily. They then removed all the bottles from the bar until 1800. I thought it was a little strange. Other than that very tiny non-issue, there was nothing that I really disliked.
The location of the property is excellent. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff is very polite, helpful and efficient. I strongly recommend this property to all those wishing to visit salalah.
The food menu has little to no choice of food for vegetarians. So Veggies like us will surely face problems unless they include few more choices for vegetarians.
all , staffs , hotel , rooms , clean breakfast , view , quiet
Room was amazing, lovely pool facilities and private beach
Mosquitoes, big problem
Ilike the suite, food and the service
Room Internet was poor, buffet was repeating
so many fly
The service at Juweira hotel was good. We arrived early but they managed to check us in. We had difficulty connecting to their internet because it was a cable connection, however they accommodated us and installed a router in the room.
In this day and age all hotels should have WiFi connection everywhere. Asking guests to connect via an internet cable is a hassle.
