There is nothing much to do in the town.
There is nothing much to do in the town. You will have to stick to the resort and a couple of beaches. But if you choose the right resort, you can spend some quality time. But the annoying thing was that there was a new rule that came into picture that you cannot take your vehicle if it is under mortgage. So everyone should be aware of it.

There isn’t a lot to do here, but the drive alone is worth the trip. A dhow trip is a great, relaxing way to see more of the natural beauty of the coast (unfortunately the boats are giant stinkpots emitting diesel pollution into beautiful waters). The dolphins love to play with the bow wake. Take a book and enjoy.
The fort is really interesting! Easy to visit, plenty to learn.

The best experience was a full day dhow trip, the scenery is stunning and it's also fun to travel in a dhow. The snorkelling is ok but nothing compared with other coastal areas of Oman. Unfortunately, as a solo traveller I wasn't able to join in any other trips (which require a minimum group size of 4 people). I didn't have a car so getting around is not easy (no taxis!). The local beach, Bassa, is quite good for a swim if you can ignore the horrendous plastic bottle pollution which is present everywhere in Oman.

Khasab is a nice place but you don't have many places to explore. I would recommend 1-night stay if you go from Dubai...2nd day you can book a half-day cruise which is more than enough don't go for a full-day cruise it will turn into a boring day.

Its a lovely quiet rustic place with nothing much to see or do, You can drive around the area which is very scenic if you love mountains ! Its a lovely place to unwind and fade into oblivion and drive around however I would suggest if you are particular about food which carry something along. We tried to go to one of the wadi's but the road was not developed. Work is still on! Stay at the Khasab resort and travel around the coastline which is a beautiful drive ! Also there is some diving, snorkeling and dhow cruise that you can opt for!

Khasab is a fantastic place to visit with family and friends but at suitable weather. Food facilities are very less as I couldnt find even any fast food chain. Border crossing at Omani side (both enter & exit) time was hectic, bit unorganized and time consuming. UAE side was perfectly fine. May be it is due to rush days (Eid days) but authorities should have managed it properly.
Dhow cruise was just amazing. We used services of Khasab Sea Tours. Staff was friendly and very cooperative.
very friendly, walking distance to town and some restaurants. very good and complete breakfast, nice layout of hotel and very nice rooms.
unfortunately no reliable internet in our room which is an issue for travelers. private, covered parking for regular cars. very clean throughout. good option in the region but overall on the pricey side when compared to similar accommodation in Oman. would however consider staying there again.
The overall stay was comfortable n nice with good basic facilities from a three star hotel perspective. It is value for money. The staff (Mustafa, Haleema, Ruqayya, Luqman) is very polite and cooperative. The property is bit old but well maintained. It is almost in middle of the town so easy to navigate. Very calm n peaceful environment. I belive it is the best option in town after Atana Khasab Hotel
Almost Everything. Very polite, friendly staff. Mr.Mustafa at the reception was very cooperative.
Breakfast had a lot of varieties. Even though some items were not there but they prepared it on request. Very sweet restaurant staff. The pool was clean with shower facility. Cannot wait to stay on this hotel for my next trip!
Totally.opposite to my horrible experience at Diwan Al Amir hotel last time.
I like nothing in that hotel except the staff was very good and friendly. but the property was very poor compared with the money we payed. The breakfast was Indian like no other guests in the property we couldn't have the breakfast and unfortunately we payed for it on our booking. toilet have no hot water we called the reception the send stoff but nothing happened we ended taking cold showers.
We got upgraded as we taken 2 rooms for 4 nights and since there was low occupancy . Parking at the hotel was available and wifi in our rooms were great. Breakfast was decent for the price. Staff was accommodating and helpful at every turn. Hotel is located right next to Tours/Travel Agency where you can organize the Dhow Cruise / Mountain Safari / Etc.
Would definitely stay here again!
The location is great. I rent a two bedroom apartment with a living room, kitchen - rooms are big with two double beds. My kids are happy with the hotel and room. Hotel staff are super friendly and helpful. They even checked with us before our arrival, share advise and hints for what to do at the border & migration processes.
Nothing went well. The hotel booked the wrong date then failed to contact me prior to taking payment. They blamed the error on Booking.com who blamed the error on the hotel. Neither party would take responsibility, and both parties made money at my expense for providing no services, no facilities and no compensation.
Everyone was exceptionally warm and friendly. Halima at the reception was very friendly and took utmost care of our requirements. She even arranged some excursions for us.
Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Khasab especially with family.
The hotel was extremely clean as well.
I stayed as a single person for an overnight visit. It was the perfect size and space for what I needed. The room was spotless & clean, and the owner was professional and friendly. He went over and beyond to help make my stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this motel for anyone visiting Khasab.
Really great hotel option to stay at in Khasab. Good value for money, tasty buffet, and we got the two adjoining rooms that we asked for. Quiet and chill guests, and very accommodating staff.
The design of the rooms and the layout of the hotel reflects traditional yet modern style. The staff was helpful suggesting attractions and ‘must to do’ in the city.
