At the weekends, parking priority is given to people attending the nightclub - not paying guests. The parking attendants were very rude and simply said,"Full. Go Away!" When we complained to the manager he couldn't even be bothered to leave his office, so we had to talk to him over the phone - he was very unsympathetic. Additionally the mattresses were old and uncomfortable.

There was no soap in my room and when I asked for some I was pointed up over a hill to a supermarket. That seemed strange.

Hi, After 17 years of traveling around the world; this hotel is absolutely the worst thing i ever seen in my entire life, its enough of the sperm & sauce spots allover the bed. You want to stay in this business; take this hotel from your reservation list.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel for families looking for a decent place at an affordable price. This hotel is located at a walkable distance from the Qurum beach. That's a big plus for those on a beach holiday. I would recommend the visitors to bring soap and shampoo and not depend upon the ones supplied by the hotel. The expiry date on the shampoo packet read 'June 2011' and the month of my stay was August 2011.

Location, Friendly Staff, Close to local shops (you have to climb up the hill to get to the shops). No wireless service, there is only one PC in the lobby area and connectivity is extremely slow.

Unfortunately I struggle to find any positives about the Qurum Beach Hotel. the best thing about it was the Ramee Hotel next door where at least I was able to get something good to eat. There was nothing in the room in the way of refreshments, not even a bottle of water! The bathroom was very scruffy with chips of broken tiles in the bath. The A/C was too loud to have on during the night. No water available in the room despite there being a refrigerator!

Friendly staff, nice position close to the beach. The rooms are small but clean and quiet. There wasn't any free WLAN available as it was mentioned before under booking.com

Price and Location were good The room was not very clean but ok. Also, there were noises from the club in the hotel that reached the room until late night which was annoying to our sleep

It was not too busy with many guests. Close to my pick-up location for my meeting. Room and maintenance staff were very polite and friendly. No breakfast included in room price (not offered). No wi-fi. Amenities were a bit too old, leaking toilet tank! Tv not functioning properly and not offering some of the advertised channels. Room service menu lacked some more options for basic food E.G. pizza, burger etc...

It was close to Qurum Beach. There are only a couple of restaurants along the boardwalk. Not really walking distance to much shopping or restaurants. But a short cab ride. At least 20 minutes to Muttrah and other sights.

“Room Price and Steak dinner. For a few days/nights stopover when you have to be in the city and don't want to pay the earth this hotel can't be beat. Anywhere else that compares ( and lot's of places that don't come close) are charging 3 times as much.” Robert, Masirah |
