My request for poached eggs was always done just right!

The decor and ambience of the hotel is quite dated. I feel as if I had stepped into 1980. The plastic flowers on the tables and the walls of the dining area is really bad. The hotelier must consider also the lighting; it is very dim in the rooms---not conducive to applying make- up. A total remodel is suggested.

Staff is friendly. Good location

The rate was higher then the one quoted by booking.com. They mention on their website a separate tax and service charge but the final rate was still higher than the one on booking.com. More transparency would help. Also you need to pay the bill right upon arrival, and the check out time is quite early 1200. I probably wouldn't stay there again.

Certainly the best value for money in Muscat. Nothing fancy in the hotel, but large rooms, easy to reach and a lot of restaurants around.

the pictures showed a very high standard hotel but unfortunetly its not in reality. it is still good though. its a little bit old but i would give it an overal grade of 6.5 out of ten

The room was big and had a kitchen.

I asked them to get my checkout on 5pm instead of 2pm and the staff said it was ok and didn't communicate of any eventual charges but right after I arrived to make my checkout, the manager charged me for another half day. They should have communicated that since the beginning so I would have better planed myself.

For these tipe of hotel it's worthy to stay for not expensive and the hotel staff never say no to you win!!! i ask them do you give this service to all customer! !!?????? the answer is yes and my interst for the hotel management! !!

Staff are incredibly nice. The nicest I've seen in my life. I was a bit upset when I first got into my room and saw that several facilities specified in my reservation are not found in the room. But, as soon as I called them, they kept sending people with whatever I wanted. I was there for ten days and there was not a single occasion when I would ask for something and they would tell me that it is not in their responsibility to help me with that. Even when I asked them for locations to do Hena work or for convertor for my electronics, they would make sure that I get what I need.

Value for money is not great. However, bear in mind that Oman and Muscat in particular are expensive places and are not a budget destination. With the value rate of 1 omr=2.6 Dollars, everything seems surprisingly expensive compared to usa and also compared to traveling to many cheaper Middle Eastern and Asian countries. Breakfast in just Ok. But, again, I don't think one can find a better hotel in Muscat, in terms of breakfast, with similar price. Breakfast is not terrible, but definitely nothing which excites one in the morning.

I cannot fault this hotel for anything. The staff were consistently polite and they all spoke excellent English. The room was comfortable as was the bathroom with a good strong shower and the beds were comfortable. The lobby was comfortable and the food that we had on our first night was excellent (we only ate there on that one occasion). Thank you for giving us such a good service. very good staff and managemaent @ i like to say about the hotel manager Mr Mohammad he;s The right person in the right place!I'm sorry, Mohammed,I do not mean false praise , but this is the fact you are a man deserves all the recognition

This hotel has definitely the best location in Oman. The staff is really nice and professional. I've forgot my credit card pin, but they showed complete patience while I've sorted everything out. The hotel facilities looked good in general. Room was cozy. And I really appreciate all the Qualified staff for what thy did for me Specialy the hotel manager

I was amazed by the change that was in the hotel!I would like to send a warm congratulations to the owner of the hotel decent administration, represented by Mr. Mohammed Amayreh General Manager of the hotel and all the crew work !!! now you can Can feel the Hospitality not as before

Big, clean and comfortable rooms with large bathrooms and even a small kitchen with fridge, kettle and microwave. It's not far by taxi to the Sultan Quaboos Mosque. I complained about the noise from an adjoining room one night which made sleeeping impossible and staff were kind enough to move me the next day to a much quieter room. Breakfast is quite good, not excellent but there's quite a big variety to choose from, including European and Middle-eastern - coffee is just the Nescafe variety though. Staff speak excellent English.There's even a gym which I used on one occcassion- and it compares very favourably against gyms I've seen in much fancier hotels in North America and Europe. Good views of the surrounding mountains too. All in all good value for money and best for business travellers or visitors with a car.

The location. Unless you've been in Muscat before, you don't truly gain an appreciation of the sheer size of the city just by looking at a map - Muscat is enormous and the Al Khuwair area is quite far from Qurum beach and at least a 30 minute drive to Mutruh. That said, many hotels are located here, and there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. Although there is a sort of charm to it, the whole area is quite unwalkable, not unlike an American suburb, with parking lots in front of every building and sidewalks that dissapear and busy roads that are difficult to cross. Unless you have a car, you'll end up taking taxis everywhere, and the costs add up quickly. I stayed here three nights at the beginning of my Oman holiday, but decided to book a cheapie (The Naseen) in Mutruh for my last two nights, which is where I would stay in the future.

Simple hotel but clean, facilities working properly with helpful and friendly staff. Fantastic location in terms of proximity with restaurants. Fabulous parking.

Nothing that I did not like.

Hotelstaff was very friendly and helpfull, rooms were spacious, breakfast was good, wifi is free, we were allowed to stay a bit longer in our rooms than the original checkout time. Location is oke, nearby Pizza Hut and not too far from the centre. We are happy with this hotel and will come again.

I liked that the hotel was clean and comfortable and centrally located.

The most important thing that I didn't like is that they charged my credit card for twice the amount without my knowledge. But, they have been, up until now, responsive to the issue. I am waiting for it to be fixed. Also, the hotel was a little bit hard to find.
