Beautiful hotel, very quiet which is what we like......georgeous swimming pool. Very helpful staff, particularly Mohammed and Abdullah who insisted on changing a flat tyre on my 4x4 for me - thanks guys.

The outside piped music might eventually get on your nerves!!

The hotel seems well kept and modern. Printing at the business center is free.

The reception staff does not know about opening hours of the restaurants. Even though a restaurant is supposed to be open, but no staff is to be found in it, and the reception is unaware of this. As soon as there are more than 3 guests about to check in, chaos erupts at the reception. The hotel internet connection is completely useless. Incredibly slow. The beach is rocky and not enjoyable, so you are forced to use the pools. The hotel is very far away from Salalah, about 1-1.5 hours drive. Generally the staff seems not to life up to expectations of a 5-star hotel. I'd only give it 3-4 stars. The cheap prices also attract many families to stay here and the hotel is not very sound proof. So if you are looking for a quiet and relaxed place, chose a different hotel.

Overall, it was an excellent experience. We had one of the unforgettable lifetime at the hotel. Location, facilities, access, everything is just superb. Value for Money !

The front office team was little unaware about the pool timing, as they told me the timing wrongly and our schedule messed up during one of the day we stayed.

The rooms were clean and the pool was nice. Nice playground for the kids and kids pool. Breakfast was decent. Over all it was nice, but maybe a 4 star - not 5.

Location was difficult for visiting Salalah - about an hour drive. Staff didn't have great English or very good information to get to the sites. Only one open restaurant in the hotel. Beach is rocky and not at all for swimming which is not how it is represented. We expected a nice sandy beach. Sea life was fun to see, but not what we would have chosen had we known.

Staff was not help full, I book room amount of OR 75 for two days but they charge me OR108. because I asked for sea view. they change my room and provided to me pool view. then they bloke OR138.643 as insurance but they did not return to me until today 3/10/2012. I think the management need to change. room was very dirty balcony having a lot of c filters, it was very bad

Relaxing and 24 hours gym and swimming pool.

1) The hotel was out of sachets of pepper 2) ROOM SERVICE ATTENDANT WAS UNABLE TO UNDERSTAND OUR ORDER PLACED OVER THE PHONE 3) AT MULTIPLE TIMES THE ORDER RECEIVED VIA ROOM SERVICE HAD TO BE RETURNED AND REPLACED WITH THE CORRECT ORDER 4) WHEN ASKED AT THE FRONT DESK FOR CITY TOURS THEY STATED THERE NO CITY TOUR INFORMATION AND WE LATER WE LEARNT THERE WERE CITY TOUR BROCHURES AVAILABLE AT THE FRONT DESK 5) DUE TO BUSY HOURS THERE WERE ZERO (0) SMILES @ THE FRONT DESK 6) SKIMMED MILK WAS ON THE MENU BUT WAS UNAVAILABLE WHEN ORDERED 7) SLICES OF BROWN BREAD (MULTI GRAIN BREAD) UNAVAILABLE AT ALL TIMES

Service is poor for room cleaning, also they didn't provide the executive service, no wireless Internet in the rooms, not responding calls most of the time, if ask the room service to provide anything we request they take ages & we have to call them several times, also they give more attention for the aspects only & ignore all Arabs or gulf nationals people, no shades for the parkings, restaurants are not ready for serving the gust & no proper salt & black paper despenser available, staff of the restaurants are not providing the items as per our demand or request, play area for the kids have only play station & nothing more, room didn't get clean on time, the Hotel always giving their excuse that the hotel is fully booked that why we can't provide you the good service

Swimming pool was one of the best I have ever seen. Child pool & small garden. Location. Rooms size. Restaurants

No Wifi in the rooms. Car parking service. Need more PC & staff at resp.

Excelent service by the Hotel management and their staff. I would especially single our General manager, Assitant Managers (Mr. Yousuf) Checkin staff ( Muslimin ), Executive Lounge Staff and Cleaning Staff (Marion and Buju)

The beach needs a bit of cleaning and renovative to make it swimmer friendly.

Location and weather was great.

Staff who checked me in charged me for my rate but told me my booking was without breakfast. I showed him my confirmation from booking.com but he said no this rate was without breakfast. Since it was late I went to rest and left next morning without talking to the staff.

The resort and facilities are nice, the climate was nice, peaceful atmosphere. overall a very good experience

Well, as in return for the money spent, i would expect much better staff knowledge and experience, lot more of better variety of food and drink especially when the resort is running at a 100% full capacity.

It location and beach view is excellent.

Chalet was fair in terms of space , Pool & Jacuzzi are nice with beautiful view.

Food in hotel is absolutely bad , very slow service , one and half hour for one Pizza to arrive our table, Location is far from the city ( around 90 KM from Salalah) , for a big hotel , only one club car to serve all the guests !!

The hotel is a fairly new property in Salalah, and it shows. The rooms are excellent, the facilities are great and the staff friendly. The breakfast was of excellent quality on all the days.

Although being called the Salalah Marriott, it is actually located 79kms away from Salalah! So add one hour of travel to Salalah one way. We had booked our rooms almost six months in advance, and yet did not receive the requested type of rooms. The food options were good, however not great as expected from a five star resort. Finally, we requested a panoramic pool view room, but were denied it!

The Hotel has amazing location... with sea view and swimming pool was very nice....

The awesome help from the staff, when my car met with an accident.

It is really a great hotel; however, it needs to be more closer to Salalah hometown and wi-fi must be provided free all around the hotel.

The location, the temperatuer and the good weather push you to stay more days

My booking made on booking .com was and I went according with the booking made, still on arrival I told that other charges are not included and I was charged omr 90/- more, again on leaving the hotel and after setelling my bill and after ridding the hotel car, I was asked again to pay more omr 217/- for extra night stay, even though I went accoding with my booking, and if didnot pay I would have missied my flights connection and the reception staff wouldnot have allowed me to leave with my family. I t is your respocibility to check and find wy they did this to me, waiting for your feed back.

Quite peaceful

Rather too far out from the town, ltook 1 hour to get into the main town of Salalah.

The Hotel facilities are good but the Hotel is very far from Salalah city almost 75km.

The Hotel was not clean, I have found many cockroachand lezards in my room and when reported to Front office Manager I did not get any proper answer The front desk staff would need more training in order to serve the inhouse guests
