Staff is good, but not professional. Better train them for 3 star standard.
The proximatey of the samahram festivill and the pool was alright.
Cleaness, old with no maintanance and very overvalued.
The apartment is spacious
Quite old and not very comfortable
The shore is far away a little bit
Situated in a very nice part of salalah with acces to the beach and mountains small drive away.
The direction and the coordinates on the website (booking dot com)takes you to government residential area, which was not pleasant and the guards didn't like it either.
I like Location Very much and ambient specially in the Evening. quite Place due to the less occupancy ????
Al C in the room was Noisy. Curtains were not openable and wind was hitting Door and Exhaust fan which were creating disturbance.
Wonderful postion at the Arabian Sea.
.... but the Samahram Tourist Village suitable for guests without own car. More than 12 kms from the city center.
Nothing to mention.
The reception staffs are so lame that they make us think like that we have to take care of everything. Like their credit card swiping machine was not detecting any MasterCard cards. I had a MasterCard and that's the only one payment option I had. Even after 4 days they didn't arrange any alternate payment option, and at last I found really difficult to arrange omanian riyal by a wire transfer from my friend.
- The hotel is not even worth listing on your website ! - No Wifi in the rooms ! - Long distance between rooms and facilities ! - No open buffet for breakfast in the restaurant due to lack of business and only some poor food on the menu.
Very friendly and service minded people. nice pool area and close to the beatch. I had a small flat with a bed room, kitchen and bath. All were big and clean.
I recommend you rent a car to get the flexibility to get into Salalah. Ask at the reception for a local Company and save some money. The menu in the restaurant is fine but a bit limitted for a weeks stay.
liked the beach /pool
mosquitoes and no vacum celaner to clean the rooms . the place is getting old and not being looked after . the staff was good but the owners are ministers . but it seemed that it is left as it is . i regret staying . breakfast was poor . over priced in genral the rates . it is better to stay in hilton and pay a bit extra .
Very quiet and peaceful
Systems and facilities very limited
Very good location close to beach, very good price/value, late check out possible, good breakfest, very big rooms with equipped kitchen
Hard to find due to wrong GPS positioning
Large size swimming pool, very clean
Unfriendly personnel, Hotel area not very nice,
Definitely value for money, if not more.
Cant think of anything.
الأثاث كان بحاله سيئة. لا يوجد نظافه في الحمامات . أثاث الصالون كله سي b 204 تجربه كانت غير جيده
Spacious rooms and clean surroundings
Staff are not motivated at all to do their job. Kilometers away from hospitality. They need to understand that guests should be given priority. We heard from reception that they can not serve us BECAUSE THEY ARE BUSY. House keeping DID NOT CLEAN OUR ROOM because they were busy. Quity funny response.
Chalet was spacious. swimming pool was really good and well maintained, but timing was 9 AM to 9 PM which was not convenient. Breakfast was good.
outside chalet gardens are not maintained properly and was not cleaned. No wifi in challet. No bahtub was in the bathroom.
location, space in room, and price
low season slow/non maintenance of some facilities
Staff wanted to accommodate anything I wished for. I was in a room that was not in good condition. It was slated to be renovated after the Salalah Festival which was just coming to an end the week I arrived. I was upgraded to a more expensive room and not charged more. All accommodations are very clean and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The manager and staff were quite accommodating to ensure my stay was pleasant. Islamic principles are used as guidelines for this hotel. Alcohol is not on the premises. If sunbathing in a bikini or drinking poolside is something you wish to do, this is not the place for you to stay. There are resorts in the area that have private beach areas, poolside bars and cater more to international tourist requirements.
The distance from Salalah. The beach is not clean. It is not part of the hotel and the public uses it and leaves their garbage and party stuff behind. Not the hotel's fault.
The chalets are spacious and clean.
The concierge staff are amongst the most abrupt and unhelpful I have ever encountered in the Middle East. It is so rare for me to say anything bad about a Middle Eastern hotel. I felt completely unwelcome and I will never return. Frankly, I was shocked to encounter Omani people like that. My other experiences of the people of Oman have only ever been positive.
no alcohol available - not advertised as such."Mini Bar suggests otherwise. plastic cutlery with room service staff not knowledgable
Its not hotel..its cheap furnished apartments with very bad service, poor undelicious breakfast, unclean rooms and facilities, careless stuff no beach access, TV not working and no response from staff, u have to pay for extra pellowand blanket. I dont recommanded coz they changed my stay mood in Salalah eventhough the area is incredible.
Staff were friendly and helpful. They had good contacts to get us other services we needed.
If you are looking for a city type experience, this is not the place. We had to rent a car to get around.
