Sur Hotel  

The hotel was a good budget option for a night on our way down the cost. I wouldn't stay there longer, but the place was very clean, even though basic. It is very downtown Sur with small restaurants at walking distance.

The location was not my best.

Excellent location and good nearby restaurants. Also, the receptionist was very helpful in recommending a quad room for the whole family at a lesser price than the two double rooms we had to book over booking.com as there was no quad room returned from the search. Since there were a number of rooms available, the receptionist arranged for us to view the rooms available to pick the best one - extremely rare service these days.

The bathroom was quite dank and poorly maintained. It sufferred from very poor ventilation. This is not a hotel for those that expect anything more than a minimal standard of accommodation, but it is still not bad value for Oman.

Very central location. Clean and quiet rooms. Good price for Oman standards.

Vétusté des lieux, on nous a d'abord proposé une chambre encore pire...SDB avec douche en plein milieu et sanitaire fatigués !

Es gibt Zimmer ohne Fenster. Wir hatten aber eines mit Fenster.

La disponibilità e la cortesia del personale.

E' un hotel di bassissima qualità, che credevo un tre stelle ed invece ha una sola stella. Situato nel centro della città vecchia in quartiere indiano - pakistano, è veramente pessimo come aspetto e come servizi. Senza parcheggio, senza ristorante, arredato alla meno peggio con accessori non funzionanti, ha l'aspetto di un albergo del centro Africa o dei paesi tipicamente poveri, anche se poi c'è il ventilatore, l'aria condizionata e l'acqua calda... Considerando che in Oman, ci sono i migliori hotel del Mondo, non ha senso pernottare in un luogo simile. Il prezzo, non alto in assoluto, è uguale a quello che ho pagato il giorno prima ed il giorno dopo per hotel di alto livello con 2/3 stelle in più!

Bed was too hard.

Wij hebben voor dit hotel gekozen puur wanwege de prijs. Het is met afstand het goedkoopste hotel dat we konden vinden. Het is een echt budget hotel. De inrichting van het hotel en kamer is er ook naar. Verwacht geen luxe, maar alles is aanwezig en schoon (en functioneert). Pirma hotel voor een paar nachten. Parkeerruimte (openbaar/gratis) voor de deur.

Het is even zoeken voordat je de ingang hebt gevonden en vooral hoe je met de auto daar kan komen. Verder zijn er geen eetmogelijkheden in het hotel. Dit maakt verder niet uit want je zit midden in het centrum met voldoende supermarkten en restaurants (eettentjes) in de buurt.
