The long pool is just amazing

One of the finest hotels in the world. A very secluded place. Wonderful pools. Magnificent garden. Great Arabic design. Outstanding staff. Exquisite cuisine. Completely unique and unforgettable.

When there is high demand for such an exclusive hotel, you have to be prepared to pay the price. Hotels in Muscat aren't inexpensive though.

It is an experience where you can live the purpose of the architect. A peaceful place where all your sense enjoy something: the beauty of simple elegant details, the fresh contrast of colours, the music of water everywhere...Staying in Chedi hotel change your mood at the same way of a magic place.

the other side of the coin it is the price. It is really expensive. Another issue it is the beach. It is a pity they are not doing nothing to clean it. All the pools are so stylish and beautiful but when you move to the beach you are out of this contest.

From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave the peace and tranquility of The Chedi envelopes you and you leave the stress of everyday life behind instantly The staff, the setting, the pools, the restaurants, and the ambience were marvellous The whole experience was wonderful.

External facilities excellent - ie pools, sunbeds, spa - stunning surroundings and architecture/gardens amazing and very relaxing.

Inside the Chedi is disappointing bearing the extortionate prices. There are better quality and value for money hotels in the area eg the Shangri La Al Husn. The standard of the rooms at the Chedi are poor - small, dark, cheap extras, poor lighting so you can't see what you're doing, windows don't open, poor views - although the bed was comfortable. I would never stay here again - whilst beautiful and stunning outside, the inside doesn't balance and for the price it's not worth it. Staff are ambivalent and couldn't care less about the feedback you give nor are they really interested in helping or listening.

The beauty of the hotel design interior and exterior. The gym is extraordinary! Most of the food in the five restaurants is really fine. The Japanese is masterful. We went in February, the best time of the year. It gets up to 45 degrees c in June/July/August.

Food and tours are very very expensive. Bartenders are not world-class. There are some weird design flaws in rooms. No media room, library or entertainment of any kind, but some may find that nice. No nightlife or music, but some may be relieved.

the room was poor, small, although it was a deluxe room , no balcony, no fresh air as it is not possible to open any window.

Amazing scenery, decor, understatted luxury and quiet and peace everywhere. Very good choice and quality of food. Rooms of execellent size and comfortable. Staff always friendly and available.

The hotel is a bit too couple minded. I had a welcome card stating Mr and Mrs when I was alone. Just a detail but perfection requires detail. Also, I would have loved to see the staff in traditional Omani outfit. It would have made teh experience 100% perfect.

What can one say about one of the best hotels in the world. Sublimely understated and relaxing, with no pretence. Just lovely.

It's luxury and good taste, great integration of nature and infrastructure. It's the perfect hotel according to me!

The lack of good wi-fi though out the all hotel infrastructure is very annoying. It should be a must in such a perfect hotel....
