My second stay at Tulip Inn. Upgraded to Suite. This time the Suite was even better than my last stay. Spacious and very clean rooms. Very well priced and great location. Lots of restaurants nearby - a great hotel for business people. The lounge on the 7th Floor is beautifully done but lack of any personnel to offer a soft drink / coffee or explain the amenities of the lounge makes it deserted all the time.

Very modern and new hotel, very good servıce and clean. We got upgraded to a suıte, whıch was spacıous and very comfortable. Thıs meant we could access the Executıve Lounge for snacks and ınternet facılıty (there was also a busıness centre downstaırs). The two thıngs we mıssed havıng ın the hotel were a bar and a swımmıng pool.

We booked a standard double room with breakfast, but upon arrival the General Manager had written us a letter indicating that we were upgraded to an executive room on the 7th floor . The room size was very comfortable with sofas and chairs and a separate bedroom. We also were given complimentary tea/coffee/water and fruit. The buffet breakfast had a large selection of food items. The staff were friendly and helpful. Within a short walking distance from the hotel there was a supermarket and several restaurants. Please note that we arrived towards the end of the tourist season, it was 38 celcius both days we were there (April 28 and 29th).

The Tulip Inn is a well presented hotel. The central location is excellent, hower as it is set back from the main road &can be difficult to find. Free hotel transfer a bonus Poor standard & selection for breakfast. TGI Friday restaurant nearby and was better option. Other decent restaurants were some distance away.

I booked online a room for single person but upon arrival I was furnished with an apartment rather than a single room. It was huge and comfort was at its best. Thanks to Tulip Inn staff. I will surely stay at Tulip on my upcoming Muscat visit! Access to the hotel from the highway, was a but struggle to reach but other that that all was perfect!

Excellent hotel, well worth the money. Very friendly staff, the couple of meals we had in the hotel very nice too, food served quickly and hot too. We had an upgrade to the executive lounge on the 7th floor which was totally unexpected and had a superb room with very nice decor and the beds very comfortable. The whole hotel had a nice relaxed ambience about it --- a great place to stay. Abig plus too was the big car park at the rear of the hotel. Thankyou Tulip Inn and Staff. My only misgiving about he hotel was that it was not very well sign posted , we got horribly lost and had to follow a taxi there in our hire car. Better signage please Tulip because people will otherwise not be able to find this gem!!!!

First thing - upon arrival I was given an upgrade which was awsome! Had to turn it down in order to get a smoking room which wasnt arranged even though was requested... Location is good, kinda busy-ish area, supermarket two steps away, many restaurants and coffee shops around. Rooms are clean and neat. Bed was nice and large with fluffy pillows and duvet. Management was super poilte. Breakfast was limited - same on all days with little variation - but still tasty and hearty. Overall it was a great stay. Tip - dont take a taxi from outside hotel, walk to road and negociate price before getting in. Front desk staff could be more welcoming and polite, especially the women. It wouldnt hurt to smile. They truely lack the energy needed to be the face of the hotel. English tv channels are limited to 1! No entertainment or activities in the hotel - no pool, club house. Lounge is limited in terms of its offering.

I was upgraded by the hotel on my arrival. I found a most welcoming room decorated in restorative colors of turquoise and gold. The bed was very comfortable. I had a separate sitting room with a fantastic crystal chandelier that was over the top! The room was very quiet! Everyone at the desk was very helpful and gracious! One thing I found very unique was the modern furniture with supportive columns decorated with mirrors and the letter "C" found in the foyer of the hotel.

Breakfast was good, room was clean and spacious, nice design in the loby area. Internet connection didnt work properly. Access only for one computer per room. The city trip was requested via reception, but it was cancelled just two hours before the start. Then we were left on our own to explore the city using public taxis. The receptionist was not very helpful with any tourist information, as it is aparently more business than tourist hotel.

We stayed 3 nights and were not only warmly welcomed but upgraded in a luxurious suite. The staff was quite professional, could speak French or English and quite helpful I fully recommend this hotel for people who do not require a swimming pool or nearby beach but a nice location to visit Muscat.
