Turtle Beach Resort

Posto molto tranquillo lontano da tutto, a patto che non abbiate una famiglia con bambini rumorosi come vicini di camera

Mangiare nella penombra ( poca luce) senza vedere bene cosa stai mangiando, non è il massimo. Comunque abbiamo mangiato bene

La tranquillità, il mare, la pulizia, la gentilezza del personale.

La colazione decisamente scadente. Ci hanno offerto di prenotare l'uscita per andare a vedere le tartarughe la sera ma hanno omesso di precisare che non saremmo andati a Ras al Jinz ma alla spiaggia vicina in una situazione di poco rispetto per le tartarughe! Un equivoco? Non ne sono sicura!

Molto carino il ristorante sulla spiaggia, ben allestito e curato. Apprezzata la presenza di una band musicale la sera di Capodanno

Le capanne erano piu piccole delle aspettative

Tutto perfetto, camera spaziosa e silenziosa, ottima la mezza pensione, meravigliosa la location! Io e mio marito siamo arrivati verso le 12 e ci siamo goduti la spiaggia e il mare (bello snorkeling).. vale la pena fermarsi qualche giorno in più per godersi il tutto non solo per le tartarughe!!

L'ambiente e' carino il mare bello e alla fin fine il cibo non e' malvagio

Purtroppo ti danno solo un asciugamano con cui ti ci devi pulire la faccia, le mani , il corpo e le parti intime ! Attenzione a chi vi porta a vedere le tartarughe sulla spiaggia di notte ! Andate solo con la guida che vi porta nella riserva naturale ! L'atro e' una fregatura

La struttura e' ben posizionata per l'escursione alla spiaggia delle tartarughe e dispone di una bella spiaggia e di un bel tratto di mare di fronte al resort booking non segnalava che nella tariffa fossero comprese la cena e la colazione che invece erano incluse ed e' stata una bella sorpresa, in modo particolare per la cena a buffet che non era male. Rispetto alle altre strutture dell'oman e' ben segnalata e quindi si raggiunge facilmente.

E' simile ad un campeggio I bagni per la maggior parte sono in comune e solo due per gli uomini e due per le donne. Le camere (barasti) sono delle capanne anche se sono dotate di aria condizionata. La colazione e' abbastanza scarsa ed e' quasi impossibile salvarsi dalle mosche.Vista la scarsita' di strutture in loco consiglierei questa struttura per una notte sfruttando spiaggia e mare e per fare l'escursione alla spiaggia delle tartarughe.

Friendly stuff, they were flexible enough to wait us late for dinner by midnight as we went for turtle watching during the normal timing. Nice and clean place at the beach, near the turtle watching spot.

Price is comparably lower than Ras Al Jinz. Half-board is provided. Good dinner and simple breakfast. The location is rather secluded; away from nearby town (Ras Al Hadd).

Beach was unusable for swimming as it was full of jellyball-like marine organism. We had our water out of supply in the rush morning although staff responded within half an hour after reporting. Our room is located at the farthest corner; quite long walk from parking

food was ok but not excellent rather poor breakfast for this price and also too much deepfried food for dinner unfortunately water unaccessible because of jelly fish

The resort is in the middle of nowhere and well made in the middle of sand and see. Staff is friendly, the cottages have well functioning facilities and the little private beach has a beach volleyball court. Simple, clean and everything works.

Good glamping resort

Internet didnt work properly. Staff didn't know what excursions were available or how they were arranged.

We liked all the new extensions to the resort. It was a very nice surprise after having visited the resort two years ago and especially because we celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary. We love this place and we go there just about once a year as a family.

We felt that the room we stayed in was overpriced. Extra adventures were to be paid for, for example the kayaking etc. It should be included in the price for the resort as we didn't want to spend extra money after having already paid a small fortune for the 'special room'. Perhaps a special price for locals & residents should be considered for all rooms, as opposed to tourists. The morning of our departure, 22nd March, we spent at the beach after breakfast to make the most of our time there before vacating the room by 12 noon. We left the beach at 11:15am only to learn that the water in our room had been switched off. We couldn't take a shower in the room, nor use the toilet as there was no water right up until we left. That was very inconvenient as we had to travel back to Ibra without having taken a shower. There was no phone in the room to phone reception. When I phoned reception from my cellphone, nobody answered. I needed access to the wireless internet connection so I had to walk to reception after 21:00 to get the security code, another inconvenience.

Spacious room, good view, buffet dinner, bar open till midnight, direct access to beach, isolated location.

Buffet breakfast was dismal, shower water filled whole bathroom due to uneven floor.

The evirement was eccelent We liked it very much because for us it was an place to relaxe

We thought we ware lucky that we mete een staff member when we arrived (in the bar). Because we woudt like something to drink and there was nobody A little bel may help

all was good - though if you would arrive there after sunset its a very low probability to find this place - even though its only one way leading there i question few times if im driving correctly - its so remote ;)

like the location with the beach, the meals and general attitude of staff very helpful and friendly

unfortunately we stayed in the huts and at night my son and my husband and daughter got very badly bitten by mozis in fact my son ended up with over 75 bites on his hands, face and feet. would it not be possible to put up some kind of nets either over beds or on outside because this really caused upset and ruined the memory

All the staff, especially Ms. Luz Fontanilla, is very kind!
