Score from 77 reviews Excellent
Nice and efficient staff, trendy ground floor and roof top.
My room was quite humid, and my window opened on a courtyard with no light coming in, but the worst part was the noise: the roof bar played music extremely loud until 3, it was just impossible to sleep! Luckily the staff accepted to cancel my other nights in their hotel...
Location Good maintanance Nice matrasses Nice atmosphere/furniture
Noise at night from rooftop bar (bring earplugs if you want to sleep)
I liked the hotel, staff and music played at the rooftop bar. Air conditioning was excellent. The location was easy to get to and from the main roads into and out of the city.
The wi-fi was not always dependable.
Great location in Casco Viejo. Close to restaurants and sightseeing locations.
Breakfast was very poor. One egg, some fruit and Kraft Singles as side cheese. Also the bar on the roof is very noisy. We could hear the dance music very loudly in our room until 3am.
Loud music until 3am on Saturday night. Sundated night was quiet though.
The location is great, right in Cosco Viejo The rooms are clean albeit a little small the bed is comfortable and the showers are strong Also like the Italian cook;)
As I was not partying the music was loud starting at 10 o'clock It would be nice if they put some kind of screen down between the windows in the courtyard as when you pull your screen up you staring directly into another's window
Very industrial chic, rooms all white though... Very bright if that's your sort of thing. Great restaurant and rooftop bar. Very central. What more can you ask for?
Rooftop bar was loud late, but I stayed there knowing this. Wasn't a big deal to me but may be to some.
Location is great .. Safe to walk in the Casco Antiguo
Improve the A/C unit..
Very good location, friendly and very helpful staff.
Very loud in the evening, could not really sleep an hour just before our long travel back home. I only suggest this place for those who like to party and go to bed late (early).
Enjoyed or stay very much. Excellent area amongst colonial buildings. Good restaurants near by. Helpful with arranging tours.
They were not able to store some luggage. We stayed in the hotel 3 times during or stay in panama and had luggage a gear for the jungle and beach and wanted to store some unneeded stuff each time.
Location, friendlyness, rooftop terrace
There's sound on the the rooftop terrace which means also there's also sound in your room whether you like it or not :)
Clean room, great breakfast, friendly staff.
The information on the hotel mentioned valet parking. All we got was a man who didnt look affiliated with the hotel who guided us into a parking spot in front of the building and asked for money.
Nice staff convenient location good breakfast
There is no door on the bathroom Hallways are dark
The staff was always very friendly and attentive. The location is perfect for visiting "Casco Antiguo". The restaurant was very good but we did have some meals at a very good burger/pizza place at Plaza Bolivar and once at the fish market which is only a 10 minute walk. I will note that, yes, there was some noise from the "revelers" at, and coming from, the rooftop bar but if that keeps you from staying there then it will be your loss!!!
Nothing for here!
Staff are awesome. Nice food. Great room but small.
Lot of noise. Bed and pillows smelled bad. Only one sheet.
Good location, excellent water pressure and temperature in the shower. Great hot breakfast made to order. I read comments about the loud music. I could hear it but it in now way prevented me from a good nights sleep in fact I kind of prefer that over hearing cars honking and other noise outside my window as I usually do in that city.
They forgot to give me back my passport when I was checking out so I didn't have it. On the positive, the taxi driver they gave me from the hotel called, gave them my flight info and they checked me in online, and printed my boarding passes. They sincerely apologized and I still made my flight on time! Not a perfect situation but mistakes happen. Everyone pulled together and although it was stressful, I didn't miss my flight.
Location is perfect, friendly staff, treated me with great respect and very attentive.
Room was a little sparse, no door on bathroom.
Loud music from the rooftop bar till 2 am..
Noisy, dark, did not get the room we paid for, were downgraded
Excellent roof terrace. Friendly roof. Hotel taxi is 35 usd to the roof, ten dollars above what I paid on 'the market', i. e. after some haggling.
Small room; aircon right above the bed; no Panamá feel in the interior style, more like Berlin or Prague, but nice!
Nice location and decor Staff were very helpful when required The roof top bar was nice BUT
The music from the bar is really loud - in our bedroom it sounded like we were in the toilets of a club. Ear plugs helped but it is unnecessarily loud. The air conditioning unit also leaked all over our bed and we had to move everything. Staff were helpful but it was a bit of a pain.
The location was very convenient in Casco Viejo, and it felt safe. It was clean and comfortable.
It was very noisy at the weekend until about 3am, and for a small rooftop bar I can't understand why. The hotel do supply earplugs though.
I liked the location, that is all.
VERY NOISY!!! There is absolutely ZERO soundproofing in this building, and due to the rooftop bar- do not expect to get ANY sleep until 4AM!! Just because the rooftop bar closes at 3AM, does not mean you will not hear noise from neighbouring bars. The room was very confining and small with no windows and lack of fresh airflow. I would NEVER stay here again!!! The breakfast was very basic and limited.
- The rooms without balcony are like prison cells - All rooms have the 'open toilet' solution, so unless you like to be with your honey in ALL situations, this is nothing for you. - Noise. At nighttime (in fact all nighttime until morning) you are living in a nightclub. You cannot escape the music & its even more louder than you would expect.
This is the worst hotel in the history of hotels! They told us at check-in that they would be having a DJ from 9pm-3am. It was so loud that we couldn't get any sleep. All the other hotels in the area have a lawsuit against them because they constantly pump their music and show no respect for their neighbors OR guests. They don't care about their guests at all, just care about making money off the DJ. So, unless you want to be up until 4am, I would NOT recommend staying here!
